A refugee is a displaced person, someone forced to leave his or her country and live elsewhere. The people of Judea were refugees living in Babylon. They’d been kidnapped and taken hundreds of miles away. So Jeremiah sent them a letter giving instructions on how to live as God’s people on foreign soil. We should take his words to heart since we too are displaced from our eternal home.

1. Be sustained by the Truth of God's word. 2. Be comforted by God's control. 3. Be responsible where you are. 4. Be careful who you listen to. 5. Be reassured by God's care (plan). A little faith will bring your soul to Heaven. A lot of faith will bring Heaven to your soul.

Skip, do not sell your soul to dispensational Zionism. It is not only false, but contributed to bloodshed including our brothers and sisters in Christ. What will you say to the Lord at the day of judgment if you participate in such bloodshed?

This is greatly inspiring pastor. All along for decades I have only heard sermons on verse 11 which is strained to teach "prosperity". I got to a point of disliking the whole chapter as a result. How widely the Bible can apply outside its immediate context. I am your follower especially on eschatology. Blessings.

In Revelation 21:15 the phase "...measure the city" please read "Ezekiel 40-41. In Revelation 11 the measuring was to ensure protection; here it serves to show the size and symmetry of the eternal dwelling place of the faithful❤."( Zondervan NIV Study Bible) Revelation 21:15-21 "15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits thick, by man measurement, which the angel was using. 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. 23:00 that is far different than how revelation teaches Stay out of Babylon my people that you do not partake of her sins nor accrue her wrath. Also how revelation talks about the severeness of pregnant women in these last times . Also Jesus and His followers partook of THE WAY not Mingling mixing in with the world andaking the best of it. God is the best Daniel also stayed praying to God So maybe a translation issue But we don't partake and live babolish ways

I think you totally misunderstood. Pastor Skip is talking about the Babylon that took over Jerusalem in 605bc not the same Babylon that’s in the book of revelation.

Genesis 12:3 belongs to the church , not them. For Paul says we are the seed of Abraham, and heirs of the promise. Genesis 12:3 has been stolen from Christians. Galatians 3:7-9, Phillipians 3:3, Romans 2:28-29.

‼‼Job didn't lose his kids, because if you read in the bible "Job 1:18-19 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee". the young men are the servants NOT his daughters and sons, In the first chapter it is written that Job had seven sons and three daughters. If he had lost them, the Lord God would have given him14 sons and 6 daughters, as written in the last chapter "Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also, the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before", but we notice that in the last chapter they are still the same seven sons and three daughters‼‼

The kingdom is already here, it is a spiritual kingdom not an earthly kingdom. Jesus and John the Baptist preached that the kingdom of heaven was "at hand". In Mark 9:1 Jesus says, " Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who WILL NOT TASTE DEATH BEFORE THEY SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD COME WITH POWER." In Matt 16:28 it says " Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here WHO WILL NOT TASTE DEATH BEFORE THEY SEE THE SO OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM". So, either the kingdom is here or there are some very old people walking around or Jesus was wrong. The POWER came in Acts 2 when the HS came, Acts 1:8 and this happens in Jerusalem. Jesus told Peter he would be given the keys to the kingdom in Matt 16:18, and Peter preached the first gospel sermon, the DBR of Christ, the kingdom started/ the church. After Acts 2 when it mentions the kingdom, it is mentioned as being here, no longer "AT HAND". Col 1:13 " He has delivered us from the power of darkness and TRANSFERRED US TO THE KINGDOM OF HIS BELOVED SON, V14 " in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins". Heb 12:28 " Therefore let us be grateful for receiving A KINGDOM THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN..." Rev 1:6 " To him who loved us and has FREED US FROM OUR SINS BY HIS BLOOD, and MADE US A KINGDOM....." v9 " I John,.....who share with you in Jesus the tribulation and THE KINGDOM...". So, it says " FREED US FROM OUR SINS" when does this happen? Romans chapter 6 tells us, this happens when one is baptized, v6" We know that our old self was crucified with Jesus so THAT THE SINFUL BODY MIGHT BE DESTROYED, AND WE MIGHT NO LONGER BE ENSLAVED TO SIN" v7 " For he who has DIED IS FREED FROM SIN". When you DIE WITH CHRIST, YOU ARE FREED FROM SIN. Have you died with Christ? been buried with him? raised with him to walk in newness of life......are you IN CHRIST? have you PUT CHRIST ON? read Gal 3:26-27

It's not one or the other. It's both. The Spiritual Kingdom of the growing Church, and the Earthly Kingdom to come during the millennium when we reign on Earth with Jesus. The Spiritual Kingdom that is now is like the yeast slowly working through the dough as Jesus said, and the Earthly Kingdom to come is the culmination of that same yeast (Spiritual Kingdom) working all the way through the dough. As many Theologians say, "The Kingdom is here, but not yet." The mysteries of God are often not easily articulable through a series of passages - or the interpretation of them. Now, we see through a glass half-darkly - we do not see the fullness of the truth. But we will soon. Come Lord Jesus!

If 70 years was a "long time", and well prophesied by Jeremiah in Jeremiah 29:10, Jeremiah 25:11, verified by Daniel in Daniel 9:2, and Zechariah in Zechariah 1:12, as welll as the reason for thier captivity stated in 2 Chronicles 36:21, then what was the 1878 years "exile", compared to the 70 year captivity? Why isnt the "second captivity" even prophesied or mentioned at all? Why isnt there a time determined for that "exile" that you claim started in 70AD and lasted tiill 1948AD? Surely , if this exile was so important, some prophet, apostle, or Jesus himself would have prophesied its duration . But there is NONE!

the return to the land was thier own will. It has nothing to do with bible prophecy today. The nation born in ONE DAY, as Isaiah prophesied, was THE CHURCH IN JERUSALEM born on the DAY OF PENTECOST in Acts chapter 2. The VOICE proclaiming the new nation, had to come from the TEMPLE. Isaiah 66:6-8. It could only come from there. In 1948 there had been NO TEMPLE for 1878 years. And the zionists werent even in Jerusalem anyway in 1948, so Isaiah's great prophecy is being distorted and twisted to divinely justify the modern secular zionist state. Examine your teachings carefully and thoroughly.
