I have listened to so many sermons about Romans chapter 8 1-17 and I dont think ANY of them have come close to your explanation. Thank you, Pastor. This put my spirit to rest and no longer upset about verse 4 with other Christians.

I have never heard someone explain the only Jesus can pay our debts this way. It makes sense that the only person without a debt can pay a debt of others.

Head covering wasn't under the Mosaic Law. It's only a part of the New Testament. Only a few pastors over many decades have understood that. However, I still respect your teaching very much! I have a profound testimony about head covering, but it's too lengthy to share here. May God continue to bless you and this ministry!

Unfortunately so many in the body of Christ don't understand or know the Holy Spirit of God. Sometimes He will make you shout and jump. IJS Other times I've been moved with unexplainable tears. The Holy Spirit moves how He wants to. Too many of us don't or won't let Him have His way in us. Thanks. #prayingforusall

A thought comes to mind, when God replaces our heart of stone with a new heart, it is the heart of the Spirit?

I think so! Ezekiel 36:26 "And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." (Heart of flesh doesnt mean a sinful heart)

The Bible states that the flesh is an enemy of the Spirit because it wars against The Spirit therefore the flesh in my opinion is a symbol of Sin. That’s why Galatians 5 warns us against the works of the flesh such as adultery, fornication, wrath, anger etc;

Heart of Flesh means a heart that’s not conformed to the Word of God, and this heart is not and does not mean a physical heart. It’s talking about your spirit, your thoughts, your thoughts. Out of the abundance of the heart proceeds evil imaginations.

I am confused about verse 9. I went to church yesterday and the pastor said I’m not a child of God if I am not filled with the Holy Spirit. What say you about this?
