This psalm was a great encouragement to me on today, I studied it about a year ago, but the Lord laid it on my mind this morning to go back to it. It’s most certainly confirmation for such a time as this. Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus 🙌🏾

Thank you so much for sharing this encouraging word :) As I was listening Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance this scripture 'So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18)', and Lord Jesus, I pray that as a child of God, I will spend less time fixated on the news and more time with my eyes fixed on You for You are the lover of my soul and You are my life and peace. Amen

we delight ourselves in him. It won't hurt us. When you delight yourself into the lord. Your desires are going to be good for you" 🔥 never was envious of anyone but this speaks to mee. Become the world and most likely you won't be satisfied. Walking with chirst is better than what this world has to offer. It's only for a short period of time, but never offers you peace and love ❤️ God is perfect peace I already knew this.. this is why I don't care about money. I want god to bless everything in my life 🙏

Listening from Kentucky. Great sermon as always. A very simple, non-flashy and SOLID presentation. Thank you for giving examples and mentioning your personal stories without losing focus on God. You always have a way of keeping it about Him. If I am ever on a cruise again I will stop by again. Great church.

I'm truly happy for your encouragement on waiting and trusting in God. I started a ministry for 500kids here in Africa teaching them God's word and doing games and having meals afterwards and I got sponsors who were ready and willing to stand with me. Yesterday morning they called me and told me they cannot support the ministry because they don't believe in God. They can only support the ministry if I change my objectives and vision of the ministry... I'm stepping out in faith and trust that God will work it out because the kids are his and the ministry too. Please pray for me and my team to trust in God for his provision as we start Gods ministry this coming Saturday I'm worried and a bit stressed right now please I need your prayers. 😰😥🙏🙏🙏🙏

Pastor Paul opens up the Holy Scriptures for us. Psalm 37 is extraordinary, I am no theologian but it seems to contain everything. I am just an elderly grandma who loves to read the Holy Bible aloud and I made a recording of this Psalm for my family and anyone who would like to listen and share it.

Pastor Paul. I just wanted to thank you for your wisdom in teaching the psalms. I always find truths and a very different way to think about things - in the way you teach … Discernment … I asked, I sought, and I found you to give me a new light in my studies. Blessings from a Catholic stranger in a strange land. 😊

I remember listening to this the first time when you taught it a few years ago and I had been praying based on verse 4 that God would give me and my husband a child..we were struggling after a miscarriage and it caused so many problems. I thought that God knows it’s the desire of my heart to have a child with my husband. I thought it was the answer to all of our problems. After listening to this message I asked God if it’s not His will for us, to please take the pain away and align my desires with His heart. I have not felt that pain since. God is faithful ❤️

Thank you so very much for explaining this chapter in a very powerful way. I'm going thru extremely challenging circumstances. It's the same challenges you had experienced when a woman along with her children reached out to your church for help. You welcomed her to your church and home with an open arm not knowing she practiced whichcraft. You shared this incident in one of your bible studies. I'm a living testimony that demons are real and so is EPHISIANS 6. The whole experience made me stronger than ever and opened my eyes, making me more watchful and vigilant. I thank God for your teachings and. wisdom May the Lord richly bless you and keep you Almaz

I am listening to this psalm again. And I know exactly what he's talking about. Right now there's so much hatred and racism. 7th October 2023, Hamas attacked Israel and butchered around 1400 isralites. And one month later, the Muslims are spewing hatred against Israel for defending themselves and attacking Hamas in Gaza. I listen to this psalm and I wish I Jesus will come back sooner rather than later. Even in my own nation, the Muslims are cursing Israel and Christians are grieved.

I thought that the scripture "He will give you the desires of your heart" meant that God will put HIS desires on your heart. Like people who rescue animals or do dangerous missions rescuing children from sex rings, or bringing animals to visit old people and children in nursing homes and hospitals, Or just helping a friend out with a couple bucks. I don't know.

Mary S. I haven’t listened to the full sermon yet... so I haven’t gotten to the pastors words about this verse. But as I’m reading... I’m reminded about what happened to me with this verse. The closer we stay to the Lord the more we delight in him... our desires become like his... so yes in a sense what your saying is right. How I understand... and what happened to me... the more I draw near to the Lord the more he draws near to us.. and our desires become more like him.... which is to love my neighbor as myself... that is my desire. As I’m delighting in the Lord loving others as myself doesn’t take much of my own effort. His yoke is light our burdens heavy... his yoke Is light. It amazes me when we surrender to his will... we experience just how light things can be. How complicated I once made them. How he orchestrates things so beautifully... without my trying. How hard it is to truly love... but easy when you see what the love of Christ produces. He will put things in my heart and mind to do for others... to say to others.... things we have no clue they needed... and as it turned out I needed it to... and the love and Joy fills your heart like I never known. And well as I write this... it comes to me... ultimately for me my desire was always to have love.... it seems this would be most people’s desire... and this desire for love can actually drive ppl to seek in all the wrong places.... to seek things that masquerade as love. We don’t know how to truly love without Christ. God is love and created us perfectly in his image. When we surrender everyday walking in his love..... that fills the desire of our hearts and leads us to do things for ppl that only Gods love could enable us to do. Truly loving others can only come from deep gratitude we have in his forgiveness and forbearance for us. Yielding to his spirit. Faith in action. He has me do thoughtful and beautiful things for ppl all the time... they are not from me they are from him... the desire of my heart is that they will know that it is from him... and that they would know him and they would repent and turn to him. That they will see and hear and have what I have in him.. that is my hearts desire. He gives me opportunities when I least expect it... to share boldly about repentance.. and some see this and are offended. When I walk away I ask the Lord if I was rude.... I’m not use to being this way... which is a desire of my heart he filled... that he will make me bold to share the good news with those who are perishing. When I ask him if I’m rude.... he always asks me... was it true what was said to them? .... and I say yes... as it was his word... and he said it wasn’t rude... that’s what they needed to hear and how they needed to hear it. I often pray for his words to be in my mouth. I love others... it is my desire to be lead by the one I love most of all with all my heart Jesus... the King of Kings... who knows every detail of their life... what they need and when they need it. He fills that desire in my heart everyday as I stay surrender and obedient to him. God Bless you sister. I’m glad I had the opportunity to share this right now.... it keeps my heart and mind fixed on his beauty and goodness... keeps me reminded of all the beautiful ways God gives us the desires of our heart... and that loving him and loving others is truly the desire of my heart... as well it has healed my heart as I get to know true love in him. Thank you Jesus. It’s always fun to see what he will do next. It is a great adventure with him everyday. The Lord is so beautiful. Nice to meet you sister 💜

Love these teachings thru Psalms and beyond. I think you are making broad assumptions about people who value and appreciate their baptism as a gift from God. I was obedient to His command and have a date/timestamp of when I accepted Him for my salvation in clear conscience and was baptized INTO Jesus, INTO forgiveness of sins. Its not the water and its nothing I've done. I submitted to His Lordship and He did (and is doing) all the great work in me. The date/timestamp is a gift He created for my own assurance of faith. I'm commanded by Jesus to make disciples, baptizing them & teaching them. You can't lump water regenerists and legalists into the same category of those who believe we must confess, repent & submit to God to accept Him and receive our salvation- it lessens/devalues God's beautiful idea of baptism. (And the other necessary elements like Godly repentance).

Delight in the Lord. A horsewoman ghosted me five years. Then she started showing up around me again. Always trying to get my attention to her face. Then I saw her walking slower. She had gained several dozen pounds. Perhaps married with children. Better for both of us. Am fretting not. Didn't really cut her off. She cut her self off. Then was trying to come back around. No thanks. Delight in the Lord.
