I'm a Rangers fan, so there's a decent chance I've seen more of Bassey than yourself. Honestly, he's far better in left back, only really started playing CB this season as we needed cover there. He did his job fairly well, but his contributions on the left have been far more valuable. His performances in Europe, against top sides, has lead to the hype - and it's justified. Go watch him against Frankfurt. Also, the improvement from last season has been night and day. Throw in his age, and that's why he's hyped up.
