You're right he does in the beginning. But when he gets his thought process in order, you can see how he just conveys his story in bullet points. Kind of reminds me of Hemingway

It's sad but it looks like Rihanna doesn't even care about Calvin's work, she just sings one of his songs every once in a while to make some good cash. A couple years ago she won video of the year with We Found Love at the MTV VMAs and she didn't even mention Calvin

@DIVAS lol, almost all of the lyrics are written by Taylor, Calvin just changed the lyrics little bit and improve almost the instrumental, u should try to hear the demo version that leaks lately

It doesn’t even matter, the lyrics are basic and are just there because it’s a song. Otherwise, the main winner is Rihanna’s vocals and Calvin’s background music.
