Imagine you start a new world on vanilla minecraft, and you have subtitles on, And while you're standing still, crafting, you see in the bottom right corner: "Footsteps" So you look around and there's nothing there. It's just you. Now you could pass that off as a glitch, but you never know for sure.

I feel like making Herobrine glow like that kinda diminishes the effect a little , just because a lot of the fear factor of that original image was that you could just barely see him in the render fog. I just feel like the harder he is to see, the scarier he becomes, because even when you can’t see him he could still be watching.

If you like horror stuff there’s this guy called Raygloom who does Minecraft creepypasta videos with no talking and only text to explain things that you otherwise wouldn’t know (but maybe only 1-2 times per video), just Minecraft, with some ambience and a sound jumpscare every time something scary happens if you missed it (such as seeing a black-eyed cow watching you in the distance)

This may be either a skill issue or just personal preference, but I think a sword would be the better option since you don't have a shield. The extra attack speed is well worth it.

Herobrine sightings (I will update as the video progresses and I rewatch): I didn't really see much in the first fifteen minutes of the video, but feel free to correct me! 18:31 - Upper left corner, hidden behind the grass and in between the torch poles. This is where you got the achievement for not noticing him stalking you. 19:24 through 19:31 - The one Calvin notices. 19:47 - Watching Calvin build his roof. 20:23 - Perfectly cut scream. 20:31 - "Behind You..." Achievement. 20:51 - "Behind You..." part two. 21:03 - On Your Right. 21:07 - On Your Left. 21:12 - At this point, he's just making your mining experience awful. 21:24 - *Says he doesn't care, proceeds to care.* 21:32 - A very quick blink in and out. 21:40 - He's very active indeed, spawning once every 10 seconds on average. 22:19 - He wants some of your bread. 22:24 - Herobrine installed Optifine. 23:47 - He's leaving you a message. 24:36 - Congrats on the iron pick. 24:54 - Hello there. 25:00 - He's not leaving you anytime soon. 25:21 - That was definitely planned. 25:44 - He's like a parent at the beach watching his son play in the sand. 26:19 - He definitely saw your panic. 26:39 - A very quick blink in. 27:10 - "Oooh, am I on camera?" 27:15 - He's very persistent. 29:30 - Even into the caves does he follow. 32:30 - Don't dig up graves. 32:59 - If you pause at exactly the right time, you can see him. 33:07 - There he is.
