Dark Trooper is a great example for wanting relics. Not required for anything, but should be at relics, cause hes the main damage dealer

Maybe as its own video, maybe as a subset of the characters that need extra relics, but a video on valuable relics for fleets would be interesting. So many relics invested in high end fleets (R9 sass and iden, R8 plo, etc.) I would be interested in your take on which ones provide the most value.

As someone (like I sure a lot of the players), whose life is very complicated, this is a perfect quick hit video which helps keep us focused. Every roster is different, but general rules are helpful. Additional quick videos on toons not to gear or to gear would be great.

Carth is a funky one because he was in the lightspeed bundles, so now a fair amount of people bave him at r5.

I came back to the game about 11 months ago after stopping in late 2016. I had no idea what Relics even were, and my understanding of what characters were powerful was frozen in time. As I hit Lvl 85, I took Princess Leia to R5. With Ackbar's leadership my strategy for everything was "Hope for Triple Tap." It kinda worked for a while LOL Thankfully I got smarter before I to Jedi Consular or Luminara to Relics too.

Great video! Btw, you mentioned Boba can slot in for the Jabba team, and can be especially effective “if you can land disintegrate” - I’m guessing you got Mando’s disintegrate mixed up with Boba’s Execute?

Ezra does also work with GL Leia quite well. And super useful early game because he's on the same cantina node as Kanan, and deals a good amount of damage

Saw is really really good in GAC. There's a lot of holds coming from Saw and a lot of great characters can go with him. MM does have Wedgecron or Drogancron right now, but you can make Saw nasty just to a lesser extent right now in 5s.

I put gamo to R8 for platoons. I wouldn't recommend it but I've made the most of it. He's come in handy as filler in conquest, TB missions, and helped me win a few GACs when we had the nutso defense-cron

Awesome video. Resource management is the game. Everything else is bonus. G11 or G12 for Ezra is all he needs, and that is for the ship.

I would actually love to see farm boy luke omi in a Leia comp in TW. She takes characters from zero to hero for sure

After Gerbils video on Phoenix I picked Ezra, Kanan and Chopper to go with CRex and Hera…..and I’m not disappointed -> countering Inquisitors in GAC is not bad!! Plus he can as a Jedi help JML in ROTE if you have to platoon JKL, Hoda, etc

Star Wars dad may ground you when Nooch sees the Carth take. Red 5 with farmboy is probably likely. A CLS Rogue Leader X-Wing with R2 that synergies with X-Wings (similar to the TIE synergy) would be better. Release that with a pilot-less A-Wing, B-Wing, Endor Millenium Falcon, and a (this is a stretch) Alliance Carrier capital ship (from rebels) with a Genetal Hera Syndulla crew (yes, jumping time periods) and I think you can get to 3 fully integrated rebel fleets. Also opens up a potential "rebel general / rebel officer" tag (gen syndulla, gen Han Solo, gen calrissian, gen jan dodonna, gen carlist rikien, gen crix madene, etc.) Please excuse the random fan musings of what the game could do...

Farmboy Luke is R4 with zeta and Omi. He's so much fun! Not good, but a great time. Use in TW as lead for Nest and Wampa, and other 2 can be Storm trooper Han and.... A body.

With carth you can even make the argument of him only needing g8 or so. For dr you only need him at 7* and for malak you can use canderous and juhani which are both better. For eh to work as intended you don’t need that high gear on the pilots as basically all you want is the reinforcement ability and maybe the ship surviving one more turn to prelong chaff

I plan on building Farmboy and Sana together, his unique and omi ties to hers in some odd ways

Technically you don't need 2nd sister for the GI unlock, you can use Reva instead ;)

I focus on ships... a lot. Though i didnt relic Carth, as you said his ship gets its job done on the reinforcement...but i bumped all rebel crew up including ezra to eek out everything i can from the fleet. Hopefully i will get leviathon this next go around. And when i dobi will bump sith assasin to r7 just for the ship aspect. Cause right now if i run across an r5 assasin, i usually win...r7 and percent goes way down.

I have Akbar at R8 and Leia at R7 with both omnis and get holds all the time in GAC. Over shot guessing for Leia and then the need for the platoon is how I got there but still have been rather pleased with them. Not for everyone, but with the right comps and mods they can do some serious work

Several of those chars need to be r7/r8 for ROTE platoons, so there is that to consider

I'd like to see video for characters that need more relics.

I'd like to see a video about WHEN to add high relics to certain characters. For Example: Royal Guard. Worth R9, but if I am not going for Lord Vader anytime soon, maybe it's one to be skipped. For me, right now, it's my case with Maul. Mine is R6... But I don't have either LV or Armorer (my Armorer is 6 stars), so...my Mandalorian team isn't any strong anyway. It does what it has to do now, so I am going to take him to higher relics only after other projects

Note on Ezra: If you're in the early game with phoenix, he's actually better than Kanan until you get Kanan's Zeta since he lets the turn meter roll. Definitely dump him the second you get kanans zeta though.

Early on in SWGOH Farmboy was one of my go-to guys. He got WAY too big and now he's borderline useless. Edit: Played early on as a collector and fan... not a gamer. Luke's definitely not my only mistake.

I've actually had good experiences with my R7 Gam Guard in the Krayt raid on my jabba team - though with Krayt raid going away I can't say I'd recommend that to people making that investment now - I don't have Embo, and I use Boba on a different team

The main reason i even went g12 at ezra is that he imhas been part of the required phoenix conquest team so far, but i suspect that is going away eventually, and then their isnt much reason to go beyond g8, maybe g11 to max the ability on the ship hes in

Thanks to the light speed bundles I now have a R5 no Zeta a long with his droid....and I can say it's made no difference in the Ebon Hawks capabilities

Not much to disagree with here but my r8 Gam would like a word lol. In my defense when he first came out a lot of people were saying double tank so I took him to r7. Then the raid hit and it was just math. Easier to take him to 8 than it is skiff from 5 to 8. I don't regret it tho. With Embo there's only one lightside character so a lot of times more of the team benefits from datacrons instead of only a few.

Yeah, I left my carth at g12, and the only reason he is r5 now is cause of the hyperdrive bundles we recently gotten. Carth and young lando were freebies when going for the resistance characters that I wanted out of them. Yeah I wish gamu and mob enforcer were better. Maybe allow mob enforcer to help bounty hunter contracts and give gamu the chance to auto taunt so he can maybe be somewhat useful with aphra or buff him again to work better with jabba to allow krrsantan to go with aphra or wookies. Ackbar and leia I still get holds in migh kyber 3 and low kyber 2 here and there. For now. I'll be replacing that team with Cera ufu since the akbar leia team also rocks fulcrum. Hoth soldier needs a rework for sure. Or some touch up to make him better. So he can be another rebel fighter tank for varous teams.

I agree with you on all of those picks, it is on fortunate because Ezra is one of my favorite characters in rebels and so I want to use him but it just does not make sense. I hope that they rework him or have him fit into another team in the future.

Disagree with you on Ezra, Zeb only works if you put Sabine in the Phoenix team, and there is a strong argument to put Sabine in mandos, especially after the teams split. I would replace him with Tarfull. Sure Tarfull has a datacron that is doing interesting things right now, but if a character is not worth relicing without a datacron, it's not worth relicing for a datacron. The wookiies just are so much a C-level team that they're not worth the investment.

MobE isn’t bad in the Krayt raid, but that’s going away so that‘s not a sales pitch. Maybe some day we’ll get Bib Fortuna or some other Hutts.

Agreed on Carth, but Second sister is not something I don't agree with. Her ship alone is make it worth the relic 5. Yes, you made the mistake for Relic 7, but nowadays, nobody sensible would relic any of the base Inquisitors above Relic 5 lol (also slice that mod as you're punishing her ship by not having all your mods at 6*) Also I think you're wrong that Sabine is the idea person for the Rex Phoenix team as she's more often than not on another team (as you said), so Zeb or Ezra are usually there for that spot and even then, having relic 3 Ezra doesn't hurt as it helps as a filler jedi and the ship, which is nice for the Rebel Fleet.

Garmoreon is needed in Operations/ Platoons for RotE TB. But it hurts non the less to take im above R3 😂
