Okay so trailer is like this.. The old guy is Ashwatthama ( Played by Amitabh Bachhan).. Ashwatthama was one of the leader in Kauravas army and son of Guru Drona ... He has the gem in his forehead which has qualities that was explained by him.. That one who wears it is Fearful and doesn't fear any God and Demon.... It gives the power in the person who wears it... MahaBharat is the greatest war that ever happened on earth and from that we have Bhagvad Gita where Lord Krishn teach Arjun about many things... During that war his elephant which is shown in this trailer was killed by Bheem ( One of the 5 Pandav Brother) Elephant name was Avantiraaj .... When Ashwatthama saw that he got angry and start attacking on Pandavas.. Later his father Guru Drona was also in the war and he was also fighting against Pandavas but someone told him that his son is died so he asked the Pandavas leader Yudhistir that is it true or not? He asked Yudhisitir because he never lies... So he said : " Ashwatthama Dead.... but as he was speaking ahead the sound of horns started and Drona only heard that his son died but actually Yudhisitir was saying that his son's elephant died.. After hearing his son's death news he was shattered and dropped his weapons ... One of the member in Pandava's army saw that opportunity and beheaded Drona.. Ashawatthama heard about it and got so angry that he promised he will destroy the entire Family of Pandavas because they killed their father unarmed... So Ashwatthama went to Pandava's Camp and killed their sons who were sleeping thinking that these are 5 pandavas.. and kill the brother of their wife.. As he was keep killing the family members he and Pandavas came face to face and He launched Bharamastra ( Weapon of lord Bharama , The Deadliest weapon in Human History) Ashwatthama launched it so to counter it Arjuna launched Bharamastra too... before their weapons would collide and destroy the earth sages requested them to call their weapons back.. Arjuna was able to call it back but Ashwatthama couldn't because he didn't knew how to call it back... So he saw the opportunity and redirect the weapon toward the Uttara ( wife of abhimanyu, Abhimanyu is the son of Arjun)... uttara was pregnant and carrying the child... After getting hit by that bharamastra she fell unconscious... Lord Krishn got angry and cursed Ashwatthama that what he did is Punishable.. So he took the gem of ashwatthama and cursed him that he will live on earth until the next avatar of Lord Vishnu will appear... and during that time his body will smell like blood and he will roam around the earth asking for food and water he will try to contact with people but he can't talk to them... His forehead where gem was situated will be full of blood... People will hate him if they see him... After all this Ashwatthama accepted the curse for what he did and is still waiting for Lord Vishnu's next avatar on the earth with 6 other Immortals who has boon but he is the only one with curse...

People compare this to dune but the fact that The shooting of this movie started even before dune (2021) and apparantly this movie based on hindu scriptures ❤❤
