IT IS MY FERVENT HOPE THAT SOME PENSION PLAN IS PUT IN PLACE, SO THAT IN THEIR WINTER YEARS, SOME FINANCIAL COMFORT MAY BE FORTCOMING FOR THEM !

This a calypso was the biggest in the world. The lyrics were written in the sixties. Every calypsonian have their own version and style of singing.

You are talking about a legend- alongside the likes of Lord Kitchener (1922-2000), Mighty Sparrow, Pretender (1917-2002), Mighty Terror, Clifton Ryan- Mighty Bomber- "James & Joan" 1964 Calypso Monarch along with "Bomber's Dream" even Mighty Sniper's "Portrait of Trinidad" (1965).... Back to Blakie- you are talking about classic Calypso "Steelband Clash" 1954 Road March 🏆, love song "Maria" 1962 Road March 🏆, "Hold De Pussy" (1967). If you look on KZfaq you will see a live performance of him alongside David Rudder, Mystic Prowler (1944-2003) & Gypsy. The Master of Ceremonies is/was comedian Sprangalang!!!! Long live the Calypso art form/ tradition!!!!!
