His body language says, he is/was a very humble creator. Can't read or write a line, the cosmos connection is obvious. Love so see an original, even some of the audience seem to feel, the once in a century master is present...sleep well brother, we can't say enough thanks for the gift you shared with us...

Thank you for sharing this video, it was truly satisfying to see this interview!!! I find the musical work of Mr. Dennis Franklyn Williams the 'Merchant' to be such an treasure. For me, he is one who stands on El Cerro del Aripo... deserving highest respect!

Another great resource to discover the nature and quality of creativity. All primary school teachers should study this programme and be guided in implementing a thematic approach to curriculum implementation. Alvin, a national treasure

I remember seeing this when it was aired the first time. What a musician - Dennis Williams. Hearing his voice reminds me of my relationship with calypso/soca as a child

This guy should be on par with songwriters like Smokey Robinson, and Bill Withers. His ability to fit words into unique one of a kind melodies, made even more difficult because he's using Calypso timing not 4/4. And he is doing it all without being able to read or write music. This is what Genius looks like.
