Here's a tear down of the APS smart shells. As I said more than likely you'll never need to do this, but is and interesting operating principle. Let me know if you like these videos. I reuploaded this cause I noticed I didn't balance the audio well enough.

I wouldn't say that you'll never need to do this as these shells are prone to leaking overtime. Knowing how to disassemble them to service them is really helpful. I'm in the process of doing this and replacing worn o-rings and and your video will help many people 😉

Wish it had an external fill valve like the madbull shotgun shells, then it'd be perfect for a project i'm planning, such a pain!

I wonder what is the expansion power of that shells and what could be if instead of air there where a flammable gas ignited by electronic means.

The shells can be loaded with green gas or propane, so all that would need to be done would be to ignite it just outside the chamber
