Panos and I are hanging out in Siem Reap for a few days. After visiting Angkor Wat and Angkor Tom, we went into the city, "The Gateway to the Angkor Wat", to discover what it has to offer. We were surprised to learn too that Cambodia is using a new currency to boost its economy - the Guernsey Pound!

I can see the confusion of the last bill. The numerical 1 in Khmer font looks like the numerical American 9. You can tell it is Cambodian font for $1000 by the cursive like style writting . It's a similar case where the numerical 5 (aka V) in Roman looks like the letter V in English.

They were more than grateful for the Guernsey pounds! We couldn't film it though due to the loud music causing copyright infringement issues
