It still blows my mind that people graduate in three years in the UK. I live in the US as a mechanical engineering student. The statistics is that ~95% of students take a minimum of 5 years for their degree at my university. That length is becoming more and more common as well. I wish I could finish in three years...

Same here! I'm south america and we study between 5 and 8 years (or more) to get a degree. That's because we have to work and balance that with our studies.

Weird. In Germany we changed the system to a Bachelor/Master degree based one so that degrees would be more compatible internationally. I thought the BA degree always takes 3 years and the MA degree 2 years. That's what it's like in Germany anyways. Some majors still take 4 years though, because they were not changed (e.g. Law, Psychology).

Here in India, it actually depends on the degree you do! For commerce and business subjects, it's usually 3 years, for regular sciences it's 4 and for humanities it's also 3. Then again, architecture is 5 years so :)

Gosh, two thirds of my friends got fresher's flu just a week in university. I thankfully got infected mildly, and knowing some lecturers actually caught fresher's flu too was kinda scary. Anyway, I look forward to more of your vlogs and you breezing through your degree. :)

Women have studied at Cambridge since the late 19th century. Oddly though, they weren't awarded degrees until 1948, which is surprisingly recent, but considerably more than 40 years ago.

Great to see you at my old College! A thrill to see the old place again. You were, of course, on Old Court when you took the “selfie” showing the Chapel, the Bar and Hall. But when I say “Old” Court, I don’t mean Jesus Old, only. 1880s. Glad you enjoyed it and that you have got over your hangover. Good Luck in year three.

Babes we’ve all been there where we don’t want to drink again. The vast majority will but it at least forces you to have a break from alcohol associated socialising and crack on with work with a clear head for a few days! Xx

Bedding, towels, white cotton 40 to 60°C, 900 turns x minutes (Cotton setting). Printed t-shirt, elastichy stuff as leggins, shirts, bluses, wash turned inside out, 30°C 700 turns x minute (Syntetics wash). Jumpers/pullovers 30°C 400turns x minute (Delicate wash). If something is stained or smelly (like sport gear) but delicate, soak 30 minutes in soapy warm water (cold if bload staines) and then wash in the washing machine, usually there is no need to scrub. I highly suggest to read the tags/labels on the clothes for understanding the right temperature, once you get it you don't need to read it any more. And avoid long cycles, usually 1 hour cycle is enough.

Ari's Princess ......I learned how to cook many dishes in my youth, and at uni, I was one of the few people who could cook.....one night I make Thai food, one night Indian food, one night chilli, roasts, make bread, cookies, etc.....always our kitchen was full....No shortage of friends...😀
