If you are new(er) to the world of ATV'ing you should know. 1.) that the back rack of every ATV has a load limit. 2.) Exceeding that weight limit generally speaking is not safe, especially if that weight is a passenger. 3.) Navigating steep up-hill climbs with excessive weight in the back can be extremely dangerous... it can cause the ATV for flip backwards and roll down the hill as well ass off-camber slopes causing the balance of the ATV to be off and rolling side to side. A dedicated 2-up designed ATV is always going to be your safest and best bet. However, if one is experienced, obeys the weight limits, and is cognizant of their riding conditions this is safe and viable option IMO.

Here's what I mean by being experienced. It would not be prudent to have a 120 pound driver and 230 pound passenger. All the weight is in the back... much better to have the 230 pounder driving and the 150 pounder as the passenger if possible. Also ensure that your combine weight is not maxing out the ATV's maximum load.

Why don't you spend less time telling other grown adults what is safe and what is not and just enjoy this video and learn from it or move along. Go annoy your neighbors about their dangerous trip hazards in their yards, i don't know....You're not teaching anyone anything, you're just that annoying over bearing snoopy guy that goes around acting as if you have the answers to everything...Get a life.

Can you still turn good and have enough weight on the front wheels with someone 120 or so lbs on it?

At the end you said you had to remove your rear rack extender to get it to fit... does that unscrew off? Or did you have to cut it off?

jrhoads23 Heya. At the bottom of each mount piece, on the underside of the plastic rack, the is a fastener. It’s kinda like blue squeeze plug thingy I showed in the video. Hope that helps. P.s. My front rack was so rusted I had to beat it off with a hammer and punch!
