Slave's burden was meant to be a suicide back pack worn by slaves, who would then charge the player and blow up. Why it was cut is unknown.

Everyone says they got the mysterious magnum. It is possible to obtain by killing the lonesome drifter, but the Magnum camel is talking about is the mysterious stranger's magnum.

Or get it by speech check after doing a quest from the tops. But you can steal his guitar, and you will gain Tops infamy (or the strip). Regardless of where the guitar is.

My brother has killed the mysterious stranger before though... He set a trap with dozens of bottlecap mines and used the Experimental Mini Luke Launcher and killed the mysterious stranger while in vats... He survived the blast through some other damage resistance stacking glitch and the vats damage resistance put together. It was pretty soon after the game came out though, so its been a while and I can't remember the details, but he definitely got the revolver .. That much i remember clearly. He still brags about it lol

Well before this stuff was documented online, he was finding all the various methods of getting oustide of the map boundaries and ways to clip through terrain and into hidden areas left over from development. One of my favorite instances of this was the time he took a Wraith in one of Halos 2s last missions through all the tunnels and past the cut scenes into one of the fights where you have to fight a bunch of enemy tanks and a scarab, making it hilariously easy... Granted all halo missions are hilariously easy anyway... That and finding all the skulls without using the internet... Easter eggs aren't nearly as fun anymore, everythings online and everyone loves to spoil things...

Actually, the Nellis artillery weapon has an unobtainable attachment which allows you to zoom out and target areas around you, they use it with this attachment to fire the mortar shells at you during that quest. At the Nellis Air Force Base if you use noclip you will see a boomer with a randomly generated face firing this weapon using this attachment.

The fact is, the attachment can't be found in the code of the weapon but it is an unused attachment that can only be applied through console commands, thus it is commonly overlooked.

The same dialogue can be found in the beginning of the game in Doc Mitchell's house. Above his fireplace in his living room, there is a brahman skull sitting on the highest shelf, if you pick it up off the shelf it says the same dialogue.

Not sure if this would fit in this video, but I was able to give myself a few strange weapons using some console commands. My favorite example is the Helios Laser. Above Helios One, there's an invisible turret that has unique energy cells and a weapon simply called "Laser". It's what fires the smaller yellow beams when you activate the defense system. When you hold it, it is an invisible laser rifle I think. I was able to get this by using the console command "ShowInventory". Just click on an entity first. I was able to use this to give myself all sorts of npc weapons. Some of them are kind of interesting. The Legendary Bloatfly projectile is fired by some kind of dart gun. It even requires dart ammo. Robobrains have a mesmetron that's fun to use. The Think Tank also have a mesmetron, uses a lever action weapon model. I'm trying to figure out if the large Helios laser has a weapon file, or the Nellis artillery fire. So far I've only messed around in-game, I haven't tried checking the GECK or anything like that. Will update if I find anything.

The Nellis Artillery is the weapon used by the bombardiers that shoot at you when approaching the base. It's more of a Dev-tool than a Cut weapon.

There is a weapon titled “9mm Submachine Gun” in the inventory of the Mk.1 Protectrons. It uses a special 9mm ammo that has the same name as the regular 9mm ammo. When equipped it appears as if the player is holding a 9mm submachine gun, but no model appears. This is obviously the submachine gun that is used by protectrons. If anyone knows more about this please tell me.

The Stun Baton is a leftover from Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta. Also the Slave Burden is probably related to the random event in Fallout 3, when you encounter someone who says that have a bomb and suddenly explodes. There's a lot of leftover codes from Fallout 3 in New Vegas, this is the reason why Tales From Two Wastelands works with little problems.

Miss Fortune gets on my fucking nerves. I really wish I hadn't picked that trait on my last play through NV - my console froze after her animation sequence at least 1 time out of ten. Doesn't sound that bad - but I picked it pretty early and had her right through playing Old World Blues, Lonesome Road and the Seirra Madre DLC's so I ended up having to reboot the console 5/6 times every time I played for a few hours. Bitch. lol

Yes it is from mother ship Zeta. There is also the alien rifle and the other version of the alien pistol. It can also be noted that the infiltrator from the Pitt DLC from FO3 can also be found. It appears in mic and Ralphs special weapon area and can't be picked up its only a static mesh 😢

My guess is that the “Slave’s Burden” was probably a backpack would they would wear and be forced to charge towards enemies while the player shoots the backpack to trigger an explosion. Most likely cut for the brutality involved with it

When I was playing hardcore and had Lily and Rex as companions I ended up dying along with Lily and the next time I turned on the game and loaded my spawn point I had Lily's Assault Carbine and Lily's Vertibird Blade as weapons. Of course I couldn't use the gun since I didn't have the ammo (although I could still equip it and aim), but I had so much fun with the Vertibird blade. I used it as my main weapon and it still worked as if Lily was using it.

The Nellis Artillery weapon IS technically the weapon which fires at you as you approach Nellis - however it's not actually present in the game. Because of the game's script mechanics, a script cannot magically create a projectile out of thin air and fire it in a certain direction - the script has to actually pretend to fire a game weapon, which then launches it's attached projectile. In other words, the Nellis Artillery weapon was never meant to be fired by any NPC or player, just to rain hell from the sky. :)

Slave's burden was most likely a suicide vest, odds were it was to for one reason or another, to turn a slave or multiple slaves into suicide bombers, Willing or not. Maybe either to use in combat or to prevent escape?

Jason Fader, a technical producer on FNV, likely made the weapon. It was never intended to be a regular obtainable weapon, only a dev weapon.

I wish FO4 had real weapons, only real weapon in it is the Deliverer which is the gun from I think the 4th to last James Bond movie. Guns I'd want in it are the G3 (Which I think is in Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas), the AK47, P9, M1911, and the M16A1/A2

There is another one. I don't know the name of it or any specs, but it's from Lonesome Road. In Uylesses's Temple, if you trip the lasers, you get missiles fired at you from shotgun traps in the walls. Since it's a trap, you can't carry it/equip it. But I found it interesting that shotguns fire missiles.

It's more than likely that the Slave's Burden was the "explosive" device that would kill run away slaves when they ran up to you screaming "HELP ME GET THIS OFF!". Upon failing, the slave would run off and "fire" their weapon. But that's an educated guess.

You actually can obtain some of these in game through not even a glitch just a regular game occurrence in the very beginning when first summoned by Caesar when you go to the fort they confiscate both player and companion inventory save holdouts so at this point if you kill your companion then leave the fort you will be returned everything that was taken your inventory plus whatever companion plus their unique weapon

Funny story actually. My dad loved New Vegas. Used to play it everyday. And I'm not sure how this happened, but he sent Boone back to the Lucky 38 and afterwards checked his inventory. And he saw Boone's Rifle in it with only about 10 shots I think. Since that point though, I've never seen it happen again

Campers Craft You can craft the Fist of Rawr (or Fist of the North Rawr if you use wild wasteland) in NV though. That's a deathclaw gauntlet.

You can get any companion weapon by bringing them into a casino and then walking back out. They will be disarmed and their weapon given to you. I did this with Veronica so I can have a power fist with infinite durability

The point of weapons like Nellis artillery is the same as Fallout 3's SatCOM nuclear missile strike in that Gamebryo needs certain effects tied to in-game assets. In this case a weapon, though when the effect is used it's from scripting and not from a physical weapon. It's actually the shot from Nellis, but tied to the weapon. It was never cut because it was never meant to be obtainable. Just the means of adding such effects.
