This is the collaboration I have been waiting for. 😁👍 Markus could afford any camera on the market, but he still prefers the small and compact ones. He believes that as long as you enjoy using a camera, that's all that matters. Photography is not just about the camera itself, but also the joy and satisfaction it brings to the user when they capture a beautiful moment. Many people become too technical about photography and forget about the enjoyment of it. They get caught up in the settings and the gear, and they lose sight of the fact that photography is about capturing moments and expressing oneself. Don't worry about the settings or the gear. Just focus on the moment and enjoy the process.

You would buy all that billionaire budget stuff and still film with the Huawei P40 Pro to cross the street! LOL! You hit the nail on the head today. Lighting is the key. And, Markus is the king/guru. Call me a Sony fanboy, but I think the A7Siii with the Zeiss 85mm T1.8 looked better than the C100 II with any lens or the Sony with the Zeiss 35mm T1.4

C200 was hunting like a pack of coyotes. Zeiss 85 was beauty mode. The CA is strong on the old EF 1.2s. Also armadillos can give you leprosy.

I wasn't expecting a Gmaster lens to look that good. I stopped it down to T8 and it was glorious with everything in focus but still had some pop!

Dude, I'd love to buy some gear from your links to support your channel. I am barely able to afford corn, let alone peas & carrots 😅. Seriously, your channel has given me some perspective on what gear I may eventually want. Money from my full time job covers all my bills, and a bit to save away sometimes (feeling blessed). LIKE! Markus is a legend! The Sony + Zeiss 35/1.4 was the only image that actually exhibited any sort of pop, whatever that is. Outside of that, every other image was bad, with the possible exception of the RAW footage. I feel you already have the perfect camera, and regretting what you wished for :))

The EOS 14mm f/2.8 series two still holds up well even when adapted to an A7Riv. I’ve even used it on my GFX100S for kicks, it won’t cover all the sensor but it has a unique look. The series one, not so much-Ken Rockwell says it has soft corners. But you might not like it for video work unless you manually pull focus. I’m one of those non-motion still shooting losers who follows you and Markus anyway🤠

The genius thing with Markus is that he intuitively knows how things should look like and he also knows how to make it look professionally with a 5$ self painted background and a potato as camera. If everybody was like this, the camera companies would all be bankrupt halve a century ago.

C200 gave the best skin tones. C100 looks almost as yellow as Sony. Your dream setup is pretty close to mine. Ursa 12k for weird tiny stuff, slo mo, manual focus wildlife, Z8 for autofocus wildlife.

I'd like to try a medium format setup to compliment my micro four thirds gear. I'd get a Fujifilm GFX 100S and add a Ninja V so that I could get raw footage out of that thing.

vastly different lighting. Agree A7sii had better lighting. c100 mk ii was more pleasing image by far. Same lighting it would have been no contest with easy win for c100.

If u have Leica money get the Fujifilm GFX 100 with Fuji GF 120mm lens for wildlife cause why stop at full frame, get into the medium format not long enough? No problem, crop it as you like because it's 100mp

I am going crazy trying to figure out what to get. I want to do talking head but have something reasonably small for vacations that will take good pics.I was thinking nikon at first and almost bought a d200 before I realized it doesn't even do video. I also want something that just looks good with no editing of any kind. Now I am considering either a fuji-xt1 or xt2, or else go to micro four thirds and get a small panasonic of some kind with small lens. I don't have a set budget but I don't need to have bells and whistles so plan to get used camera with small 35 and small 50 primes. I just want something that looks good out of box and doesn't make me look like a Vulcan like Sony seems to. No canon, I am done with them. Would consider sony but only if it is good color out of box.

I want m43 8mp sensor for low light conditions. Please, ask panas or om to do this kind of camera. Keep 4k res is enough for video and photo in low light
