DJI Pocket 3 has always been great for video, but now it's a true cinema cam. Netflix approved? Not really, but the cinema is our :) Anamorphic cinematic slow footage is our now with Freewell Anamorphic filter set. Wide angle adapter with ND's.

This thing rocks the stabilization alone, making vlog videos just buttery smooth. The colors are amazing and so are thise house jeez. I use to take a insta360 for it's stabilization but there would always be weird artifacts at times. Great job DJI and thanks for almost daily videos as well.

Not sure if someone commented but you can lock the gimbal by holding the button down, while changing filters it may be handy over pinchy.

I was in the flower business for 2 decades in BC, I've met a lot of people into flowers but never anyone in a flower if you know what I mean. Find some grey or brown squirrels and film them with that mist filter, on a bright day. The effect is pretty incredible.

Someone gonna make a mint selling a magnetic bandolier for all the filters you need to juggle with this. Add a wrist strap or backpack clip and it’ll sell like hotcakes. I left one of the filters on and shut it off and it managed to get stuck in the off position and took me five minutes to remove the filter because it was big enough to get in there but now couldn’t get out. Lesson learned. Also all I ever do watching your videos is play “guess the street” and wonder with terror and joy when I’m going to bump into you rambling to yourself on camera.

You can leave the filters on and turn off the camera the gimbal just goes to its second parking place and holds there for a few seconds to give time to place the camera in its case with the lens facing down in the case.

The Anamorphic genuinely raises the quality for viewing considerably. Maybe add some thin double stick tape strips to secure it semi permanently and be done with it.

If you leave it on the camera, the motor will jam up when it when it tries to curl up for nap time. Unless you mean affixing some of the filter stack together so it's fewer steps, which might be good!

The problem is that the gimbal flips down when you turn the Pocket 3 off, so you aren't supposed to leave the filters attached when you turn it off.

@@bigtb1717 That's not very clever of DJI. I would have to look at it, but I had a similar problem with a Moza phone gimbal, though not automated, to fold it up for storage it simply was dumb and did not allow for complete folding. I fixed the problem by shaving a couple millimeters of needless plastic. Though no one wants to hear it, these are throw away products meant to be replaced every year, so altering them may hurt re-sale value, but before DJI we were all building and customizing our little multirotor gimbals. Even taking apart DJI and other out of the box units, and replacing their controllers when they broke. Can still be done on basically any gimbal.

That's like C4K (Cinema 4K) aspect ratio. (4096 x 2160) I usually shoot in this mode with my GH5 II. Also It gives some flexibility in post (crop, positioning the center to left or right.. etc..) when I create a normal 16:9 video ftom the recorded wider C4K video. (And on the pana it does not cut the top/bottom, but it uses the whole sensor-width so I don't loose anything from a normal 16:9 frame size, but I got more wider FOV)

The video of OP3 4K 120FPU is stable, sharp in great clor is truly unbelieable. The best of all is that everyone can take this kind great video on everything, including flowers, people, etc., without training or skills. OP3 destroys the needs to buy a new camera or iPhone for video.

Nice image. Truly, the best Vlogging Camera for the Price. As for the "Ultra Panavision 70mm 24FPS Anamorphic 2.76:1 Aspect Ratio Cinema Lens Budget Add On, Daddy lost the fight and didn't get to see his Kid. Too Bad, as everything else checks out.
