Nice, this battle is so underrated since Saro demolished his opponent. But just to be sure you understand why there was this huge difference: Camero wasn‘t supposed to participate, another guy wasn‘t able to come so he had to go against Saro instead. He wasn‘t prepared as you heard, so for that I would say he was really good not being prepared enough. 😅

That makes a lot of sense now thank you for explaining that. I Had to give it a benefit of a doubt for Camero. It all makes sense now.

I’m glad you’re back on loop station. 2017 was the year Saro changed loop station into its modern form. His structure and build-ups where his layering becomes the melody and where he puts his drops were revolutionary. He also changed the game in so many ways. Saro composed his own tracks (bar one). Before, loop station was more of doing covers, pursuing how good you could mimic a famous track with just beatbox and a loop station. There are still covers in loop stations, but not as predominant as before. I can’t speak for the other categories, as a loop station fan, but 2018 you can see how the game had changed. Inkie, NME and Balance made their debut with new styles, pushing loop station further. I think 2018 is good, but 2019 was a great year for GBB loop station and a definite must-watch. There are basically two world championships in beat boxing, GBB and Beatbox World Championships. Saro declined GBB 2018 and instead was a judge for the tournament. Instead he took part in the other world tournament where there is a classic battle, the semifinals between Saro and NME.

You are kind and precautionious in your words and you are right. I heard Camaro wasnt chosen originally and they called him , as a German because the event was in Germany, the original competitor abandonned the competition and he accepted replace him to avoid ruin the event but he wasnt prepared at all , he didnt knew how to make the machine work well ,and on a top of that he had some light mental issues i hope he cured This guy is an old school beatboxer, and i think he really enjoyed his second round without eyes and mouth , i can figure he wanted to express himself with some vocals that he didnt play in the first one , and i wouldnt have balls to execute things in front of a crowd without knowledge of the category. Props to Camaro , on the top of that he battled the GOAT , not much people could live this Sorry for my english 🇲🇫

With Tag-Team it's more about the stand out routines early on. Not until last GGB and the most recent one has it been "must watch" for all competitors. Same with the Group (3+) battles. Also since you are loving Saro and Loopstation there is one video I just can't wait for GBB to release from GBB23. That was a Saro and Rythmind Loopstation Duo Showcase. They both had their own Loopstation and did a routine similar to how the Duos/Tag-team works. It was the SINGLE greatest thing I've seen in the Loopstation and Beatbox scene. next level performance and music creation.

I can’t wait I know these will evolve more too so I’m cool to keep going and watch as much of what I can watch to full see enough history for beatboxing. The cool thing there’s so much more 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Not sure if anyone's said anything but Saro has never lost a round. Not even half a battle. He's the Goat. It's not close.

Oh wow I also forgot about this battle. This is the perfect example of the difference between a normal beatboxer using the Loopstation as it's main feature, a pure looping machine that you can trigger with the pads. Then you have the other side who is using the Loopstation as their "daw" using all of it's available features. Just the amount of knobs and slider use is drastically different from the two. Then you factor in all the sound design and layering and shit Saro is doing was mind blowing at the time.

Wow now that you break it down like that it makes sense. 🔥🔥🔥 yea I felt like the other guy is a great beat boxer but maybe loopstation wasn’t his strong suit

@@KDretheGreat for the time he was good, its just SARO is in a league of his own, he really made loop station what it is today. he pioneered it. so a lot of these early battles are people using them "normally" (for the time) and then SARO just doing his own thing nobody else was doing. later obviously everyone started evolving their styles to try and compete with SARO, and a lot of younger talent eventually cought up, and took over the role as pioneer.

I’m definitely gonna react to 2018 I’ll make a poll to see if y’all want me to skip 2017 I have to do loopstation tho it’s my favorite lol but I can watch the others myself to get caught up.

@@KDretheGreat I recommended some solo battles from BBWC 2015, but the tag teams from that competition are pretty good too. GBB tag team battles definitely step up a notch in 2018, and 2019 and 2021 are crazy (I personally think most battles from 2021 are better than 2023) Definitely keep watching, even if it's unrecorded, to see the history. Also you'd probably get more views reacting to more memorable battles lol
@KDretheGreat4 ай бұрын
Yea 😂 I’ll definitely keep watching just to see the history, I feel that’s what makes it cool. Learning and going back form what was documented.
