Regardless off my opinion, Cameron Hanes is the real deal. An actual American Hero. Came from nothing, built himself up supporting a family while working a 9-5 and grinding out for decades the pursuit of hunting, and being very successful at it. Oh and hes an endurance athlete. You deserve everything you have and everything coming your way. #keephammering

Ah yes. Dakota Meyer. Curious to see if Cam will question him on his remarks about civilians training in full kit. He's right up there with Tim Kennedy and General Milley as far as im concerned. Don't think this podcast will change my mind about it but its worth a listen.

He did a great thing fighting for his life, but thinks that made him the authority on who should and shouldnt be allowed to train on the civilian side....stuff that could protect people and save lives. Showed his true colors.

Won’t listen to this one. I can’t take the words coming out of this guys mouth seriously. Citizens have the right to defending themselves, their families and those around them. I respect the Medal of Honor, but man, I do not respect you. You’re an inspiration cam. Keep pushing.

Can't believe I'm going to respond on a youtube comment, but Dakota Meyer never said that you don't have the right to defend yourself. A tiny amount of research would show that he supports the second amendment. A comment about mil-sim guys playing dress up is not the same as bashing the second amendment or the right you have to defend yourself. The fact that people in this comment section cant grasp that shows a huge lack of critical thinking skills as well as a lack of an ability to hold a nuanced position (which seems all but lost in this divisive world). Please link to a quote from Dakota Meyer where he advocates taking away your right to defend yourself.

I’m sorry everyone you’ve had is awesome and inspiring Cam but this episode is the exemption. This dude is full of shit he might be a hero if you believe his story and regardless he served and deserves respect but his comments about us “civilians” and our rights the rights he swore and oath to protect are just disgusting. I’m sorry but I just can’t respect this man or anything he now stands for. People change and sometimes not for the better.
