I love Camiguin Island as much as anyone can. Lived here since 2007 and came out of retirement to do what ever I can to clean and preserve for future generations to come.

My Moms family escaped to this place when news came they will be killed by the Japanese in Jagna Bohol during WW2 when the first Japanese unit went to leyte to confront the Americans and replaced by conscripts from Formosa, China and the Korean Peninsula. Here along the beach she winessed the Japanese fleet passing through the Bohol Straight and the fleet according to history books were ambushed by the Allied fleet. She witnessed the final moments of this Japanese ships in this island.
