OMG I've been dying to see you react to this and the Demi performance!!!! I am a super protective mama bear of my 2 girls. Probably worse than their dad lol. I've already warned my 12 year old about my plans to scare the boys off lol. I grew up in a house full of women though. Single mom....I have always been the over protective middle child lol. I feel like no one will ever be good enough for any of my babies, son and daughters. My only son is my baby boy, and we're very close. My two older daughters are on their own already. My baby girl is so strong and stubborn, any man who wants her will have to earn it lol.

Parenting style is different but still raised a lot alike. My guys since they were toddlers started out with "yes maam, no maam and sir. They never had a babysitter other than our parents and only on our Anniversary and occasionally a date. They were always Mommas boys but now our youngest who is married is all about "Pops" but my oldest is alllll about Momma!! We have 2 adopted and our daughter-n-love and everyone lives here at home except our oldest adopted son, but he's still here a lot. There ages are 25, 24,23 ,22 and 16. And this Momma Dukes will make a girl disappear QUICK if I don't like her. So far Pops ha taken care of the boys. And all their friends like to come here and that makes them come to church with us a lot. My Husband and I have been married 25 years last week and they all think it's so cool because we still love and LIKE each other and have a blast with all of them.

To answer your question. Yes, we feel the same way. I’m a single mom raising my four boys. I want my boys to treat their partner the same way they wish their mom is treated. I’m teaching my kids to be independent.. to have a voice because their voice and opinion matters..to have courage to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves..always be the best they can be thru good Christian values..treat your body and other’s with the outmost respect. One day when I’m no longer here for them to know they’re not alone because they’ll have each other to lean on. They can look for wisdom..courage.. strength and comfort through Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Savior..I pray my boys will find love and happiness with the person they’ve chosen as their lifetime partner..🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️🥰🥰

My son is grown. He turned 20 last month. He will always be my little boy. He's a great kid. When he was serious about his high school gf, they lived next door, I really loved her like a daughter. He turned 18 and they broke up. She's still in my life, even though I've moved. He had another semi-serious gf, for almost a year, whom I did not like but tried...for him. I hope that one day I'm able to feel that my baby boy finds someone perfect, BUT he's 12 now, and has like a few girls that he's told us about and his dad has thought the girls were sweet, but not me lol. I now he's almost a teen but I still see him as a toddler sometimes and he hates it. But he's my oldest, and his baby sister is 3, but again, he's always going to be my first baby.

As a mom of 4. 2boys 2girls YES my boys one grown are VERY selective with who they bring TO ME. In short as I've told all 4 of my children. Everyone out there is looking for the loyalty and tightness our family has you need to make them earn that shit. Everyone want's it but not everyone wants to stick around and do what it takes to earn that kind of love and respect. The oldest of the 4 a girl DOES NOT bring him around. I'm gonna say it's for his safety. My filter is broken at this point and I have NO desire to fix it. I'm praying our youngest a girl will do the same BUT she is a mix of her dad and I so if he can't get past her he definitely won't make it home to us.

I have a 9 yr old daughter and a 7 year old son❤️💙. They are still a too young but since they were both babies I prayed for the spouses God had chosen for them. I will accept their choices along the way but believing they will get the one God has for them! If I had listened to my mom(single mom) I wouldn’t be married to my husband right now( we started dating at 14). Now my kids have an amazing daddy that I would choose all over again💖

My mom was happy when I found "the one*, I was 19 when I did, I got a lot of flack from the rest of my family saying I should still be playing the field, but I knew deep down I didn't need to look anymore, his mom on the other hand wasn't ready to give up her 21yr old "baby" boy, took 5 yrs for her to like me. 21yrs later, we are still together

@@BillyYouSoCrazy mom's was stubborn, she didn't like the fact that the reason I moved in, was to save the roof over her head, pay the bill and buy the groceries, until my other half got a job, it was her pride talking, besides she was used to all his ex's leaving him with in a year, and she'd never gone headed to head with an Irish woman

Excuse me while I go ugly cry...lol I have a son and daughter. Both are still super young, but I am not ready for their future adult life. Shoot, I'm not ready for their teenage lives lol I take a lot of examples from my parents. But I try to make it more fun and less strict than my upbringing but keeping the values and respect I learned. I want there to always be open communication about anything with them, hopefully that works out.

I have an odd perspective on the difference between mothering girls and mothering boys. For my girls I wanted them to find good men that would treat them right and let them be equals without being intimidated by them. I had two girls, now I am raising my grandson and what I would really like for him is someone who will help him be the best man he can be. Overall girls or boys I just want them to be happy. I don't always know what will make them happy so I can't choose for them.

On the flip side for a daughter that her daddy left and abandon her until she was adult check out Kelly Clarkson " pieces" I've bitten my tongue on my opinion of relationship with my son and daughter both. My son is 15 now. Yes I worry about the women in is life. My daughter is 17. I worry all the time since it's just me. Their father passed when my daughter was 2 and I was pregnant. I worry they are missing out on that. I know their dad is looking out for them. He passed in Iraq in 2004. He was a US Marine. My baby girl wants to follow in his footsteps. I admit I cried.

I saw this the first time when Birdman's Place reacted to it. I have seen it 3 times since and every time I think of how it was when I met my husband and how it probably eas for my Dad. Then I think of my hubby with our daughter. When the day comes that she find her "one" is going to be rough! She's had a few boyfriends in her school days but in the last 4 years she hasn't.
