Great reaction! It definitely was not a calculated move in my opinion. This song was leaked and her dad found it on the internet and heard it and cried, she was really upset that she was not able to see his reaction to such a special song. Which is why I think she really felt she needed to do this performance. Like you said, she could have done My Oh My which is rising on the charts and could have benefited from a performance.

All girls/ladies watching this, I really pray hard, your daddy gets to walk you down the isle 1 day. I’am 33 & a bag of tears every time I hear this, I wish my dad was alive. However when I see my cousins & friends fathers walk them down the isle, I sob for many reasons of course, but thankful to see it & they got that moment. It’s the closest I’ll ever get to it. But I hope my dad is proud up there 🙏🏼 🤍 🕊

I get that non-black people don't have the right to tell black people how to feel. However, I also think it's wrong to say that everyone who supports Camila is racist. I've seen a lot of people saying that and if they do say that or are just really disrespectful to Camila's fans, that's when I try to tell them why people do still support her. If someone says they're upset with Camila or refuse to accept her apology, I'm fine with that if they don't insult other people who basically don't have anything to do with it.

@@mrgstks I'm just saying, just because people resume being fans of someone who made racist remarks in the past, doesn't make all of those supporters racist. It's just as bad to harass someone for supporting an artist as it is to tell people to feel a certain way if you don't have a right to tell them that.

@Anne Day me being a fan of an artist is definitely not as bad as random people not only judging me but actually cyber bullying me for liking that artist. Yes, I do like Camila, and yes, I think she has changed. I'm not going around different comment sections shaming people for not forgiving her or giving her the benefit of the doubt. Does this mean I'm racist? The person who made this video said he thinks that Camila's changed, does that make him racist? It doesn't make sense. For example, I'm a huge fan of Demi Lovato, she is a known drug adict, alcoholic, bipolar female artist. Does that mean that I'm all of those things? No, it doesn't. I'm a fan of artists from the US, does that mean that I'm from the US? No it doesn't. I love dolphins, does that mean I'm a dolphin? Nope. I follow Camila because I believe she's changed, if I thought that she hadn't, I probably would have stopped following her. That doesn't make me racist, it makes me forgiving, that doesn't mean that I think everyone has to forgive her. Everyone has their own reasons not to forgive her and I understand that but people should also understand that following Camila is not a racist move or at least not insult people they don't know because doing that is exactly the same as shaming people for not forgiving her. Those are both choices we make that don't affect our personalities.

@Anne Day I'm not going to argue with you but I actually did write comments a lot like these when I found out Camila's fans had been cyberbullying Normani. I don't get why you would think I stayed silent about that. I was kind off taking a break from 5h during that period but when I did find out, I was appalled and wrote long comments about that as well. I don't know the relevance of that to this though, as it was not Camila who attacked Normani, it wasn't me either. I respect Normani, and I think she's an amazing performer and singer, I listen to her music and I support her as well. I honestly think, and have stated before that the people who cyberbullied her were jealous because Normani was getting more popular and her singing was improving so much, at that point, Normani was seen as the only possible threat to camila within 5h. I think the things those bullies did were disgusting and horrifying and I don't support them in any way.

Loved your reaction and your opinion! When I think about her, I remember my own problematic past, I eventually changed, grew up and educated myself but it took some time. Being latina I kind of see where this types of things come from with latino families. (Idk if that makes sense lmao) I totally share your opinion, some might forgive her, some won't, some will give her the benefit of the doubt and I respect that, it's not my call to decide for the black community. But for myself, I see my past in her and I choose not judge her character today based on that, because I am also a different person today. I want to see her grow from her mistakes and her past. Anyways, great video!!
