In all honesty, I genuinely believe this song is about Lauren. This song is set during the most difficult period of Camila's life - 2016 (you can tell because of the somber message of the song and lyrics like "lost a little weight because I wasn't eating", which is consistent with how she appeared throughout that year: skinny and exhausted). Camila wasn't romantically linked to anyone during this time, there wasn't even an opportunity to be since throughout the entirety of the year she was touring and promoting with the girls. "Hesitation, awkward conversation, running on low expectation" why would she be spending time with an ex like that to the point where she would be forced to talk with them? Unless of course, she had to because she was in a group with her). "Dirty tissues, trust issues, glasses on the sink they didn't fix you" I think it's pretty obvious Lauren was trying to cope with the impending departure just like Camila was except she did it with drugs and alcohol, you'd be naive to say she didn't use during this time (and even before that too). "Loving you was young and wild and free" they were together when they were young and it was more simple, but then the love was "dumb and dark and cheap" as they got older because it was tainted with all it means to be a celebrity as well as their mutual disagreements over things as serious as their careers. Overall, if I had to say that one song on Camila was about Lauren, it'd be this one. And that's heartbreaking, to be honest.

El amor no siempre se trata de pareja, los amigos también pueden amarse, y aunque no sabemos de qué manera se amaban ellas, si podemos estar seguros de que se amaban y que en definitiva ese amor trajo muchas consecuencias para ambas. Según todo lo que he visto Camila amaba tanto a Lauren que intentaba apoyarla siempre en todos sus asuntos psicológicos, pero llegó un punto en que eso comenzó a absorberla y llegó el momento en que decidió que ya había sido suficiente. Eso, sumado a lo que sea que haya pasado con los managers y todo lo demás para separarse así del resto del grupo.

Ok what i got from the video is that camila might be a lesbian or bi at least then lauren over here is trying to be in denial over the fact what happen with camila. Like you can see it in her face trying to act all strong and happy after camila left the group but that smile doesn't reach her eyes. Thats all i got🙌
