In todays vlog, we head to Malaga, Spain to one of the most dangerous walkways in the world...The Caminito del Rey. Also known as the king's path, this is an experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life!
The Caminito del Rey is a 100-year-old, breathtaking walkway, pinned to the steep walls of a narrow gorge, through one of the most jaw-dropping sites in all of Spain. With drops of over 100 metres to the ravine below, this is not for the faint-hearted.
Up until 2009, it was considered one of the most dangerous hikes in the world as a result of several fatal accidents and also because sections of the walkway had collapsed and many other sections were in need of severe repair. But, In 2015 it reopened after a major restoration program that transformed the entire walkway into a much safer route, opening up the path to more people and regular tourism.
We found this to be a relatively easy hike. We took our time and it took us about 2 and a half hours to complete, which makes this a great half day activity.
To buy tickets for Caminito del Rey you have to buy them on the official website. Here’s the link:

Tickets cost €10 per person, or more if you want a tour guide included, and you’re best booking these as far in advance as possible as they sell out quickly.
When you book, you get to choose what time slot you’d like, but you’re going to need to get here around 30 minutes before the time on your ticket, as they’re quite strict here and if you turn up late they won’t let you in.

Did this yesterday after having it cancelled twice because of bad weather. We did the guided tour and I have to say that it was well worth it as she was very informative and told us lots about the history of the walkway and helped point out the vultures which are fed by the local government apparently. We also spotted the wild mountain goats. It really is a spectacular walk. Thanks for the heads up on parking and making time to get to the start. We had something to eat in the hotel opposite the bus stop afterwards and the food was great and very reasonable 👍

Another jaw dropping place you guys have visited for sure. Love how you both are doing the voiceovers. Parking tips is truly a great tip. This looks so fun but would have to hold Rosalie tight here. You are so good with bringing your own food. We need to that more. That original walk look so scary. Those glass bottom view freaks me out each time. Thanks for taking us around.

This is one of the most jaw dropping places we've ever been to! Yeah me too, really helps me out now Ronan is getting involved :) Parking is always a confusing part haha. I hiked this in 1995…. no rails, no helmets, no harness., half the path fallen away and iron girders to step on over open gaps to the cliff bottom…… that path below you! Then it was dangerous for sure…. Sorry but there is no danger on this present day tourist version. Nice video though

Ok lets get serious here this is in NO WAY the most dangerous trail.... that is laughable. It is a touristy 6km path that is super safe and not scary at all. It is for the most part a guided tour so lets not exaggerate here just tp get clicks
