I disagree with Fred comment about the Pivot gonna be successful cause they don’t have EGO,etc. Pivot WILL NOT be successful if you keep going on a victim tour talking about IAM Athlete. Your showWILL NOT grow and success as long as you keep bashing I Am Athlete. It sounds like you are bitter about what happen. God will not bless that kind of mess. Your conversation has to elevate and you need to move on from the past storyline. ! I support Cam’s podcast but I’m feeling sour every time I hear the Pivot rehash there beef with IAM Athlete.

Shoutout to Ryan for respecting his upbringing and not letting the others make him view himself less due to his parents sacrifices (even though they were joking). I went to college like Cam and Fred, pell grants, but also loans (no scholarships). Today, I'm working hard to put my kid thru private school (cause our public schools are not great) and to have money for college (and some afterward) to create a better and more varied path for him. I still want him to have the hustle mentality, but I'm working to ensure he has opportunities I wasn't able to have. That's not a bad thing.

Yes but many young people especially millennials have parents who are well off and can provide better than those of us who were born and grew up in the 60-80s. Yes Ryan should be proud that his parents could afford the lifestyle he had growing up but unfortunately many of his football colleagues did not come from such background and yes it makes him look like the outsider. Both sides have a story.

Ryan Clark! Well said. Everyone want to come from the slums. Speaking on your father working hard and grinding to change your life is real! He wanted a better life for his family and that’s real. Your father could’ve quit and lived in the slums but wanted a different life for his family. So he worked extremely hard. We shouldn’t have to repeat the poverty cycles. Coming from the slums doesn’t make you real!!!!

I say this with all sincerity... 1. Stop voting Democratic. They are more evil towards poor folks than the morons called the Republican Party. 2. Stop thinking us vs. them (as in color). You are in America! Full of races and thriving. If you still think you gotta stick together only for each other...then head to Africa and make your path. You won't survive because the basics are not taken care of there. America, with its faults, is the best place on the planet to "make it" as you wish to happen. Don't be a stew in a melting pot. Work with all races for good. Avoid/minimize the people (not race) in your way. -White guy

This was awesome! Cam, you did an amazing job and things flowed so well. Ryan hands down was the BEST fit to start the pivot. I remember when he said they presented the idea for him to join a new podcast, the first thing he said was...is it something that can be fixed between them before leaving! WHO does that??!! Only someone that truly cares about folks well being and if things can be salvaged work through it. Fred and Channing are stars in their own lane and I just love those guys too! Chad was the only one keeping the lights on when they left IAA. Now that he is gone, its been a struggle. Brandon's energy always gave off he didn't want partnerships...he wants employees. I know that decision haunts him to this day.

That's why I love Channing. yes, he is a comedian, but you can see how much he loves his wife. The way he speaks about her means a lot to him. These days, we don't see that kind of men saying that and have respect for their wives. man, props to him.

It is poetry in motion when 'chocolate men' (an endearing reference to men of African descent) sit down together and have a passionate conversation about a portion of their life experiences. Everything that these brothers say and do is being observed (not just by younger brothers, but also by those who are a bit more seasoned --- I'm 63). To wisely and methodically go about planting business seeds is something that's needed a lot in our communities. If our youth can slang some weed, then we can be taught (and not necessarily in a conventional way) how to choose and successfully operate legitimate businesses. Therefore, I'm excited about these soul brother business collaborations. But the greatest thing that any of these men have going for them is the love that they have for their family members who truly love them; and their ability to manage other family relationships that may not be as intimate. God bless these men as they assist a "mighty people" to once again attain to greatness. There once was an African trillionaire named Mansa Musa who existed before chattel slavery in America. We emanate from a very rich and courageous people. Our words are extremely powerful when we choose them and utilize them thoughtfully and intelligently (on a consistent basis). Our words can both create and destroy. May God bless us to think before we express our heartfelt thoughts. One love fam.

I change my mind about Pac. He was just on the JBP and he got messy. SMH… Especially, after hearing Fred share the positive story about Pac and how he looked out for him. Brandon (the ONLY one currently on IAA who has the right to say anything) handled it with maturity and class.

Beautiful podcast, as good as it gets. I have been a fan of Cam Newton for about 7 years. I am continually inspired by his strength and will in adversity. He maneuvers through wisdom; but, most importantly through faith. I feel his words in my heart when he speaks from his soul. I am a Patriots fan and still believe you should be our QB; we are missing your leadership and presence. I love Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder with the Pivot. I regularly watch the podcast; this one was very special. I thank you ALL for what you do. Keep going!
