Having been to numerous vanlife festivals over the last few years, it's fair to say, there's a lot of fun to be had.
Most have a fairly regular format....tried, trusted, re-packaged and delivered in a field - Awesome times with friends!
This was our first Camp Quirky though and we had high expectations, not least because it was the most expensive we've attended so far, so something had to be different right?
Marketed as the most eco friendly and handcrafted of van festivals and powered entirely by solar, we were keen to see what the hype was about....

Andy lindsay we would have loved to have seen you there we went on the Friday left on sunday evening, it was our first visit we walked round the vans interviewing people and did not see you guys but it was a massive event, we also sat listening to the singing where Lindsay was playing. I was there too saw you both never got around to saying hello. Think on me I had to pay for my four dogs. It was expensive. The worse thing is one of my whippets was I’ll during the whole weekend so my whippet didn’t get out too much. It was nice festival but the price still bugs me. Hope you both had a lovely time 😊 there was loads of lovely vans ❤❤

8:54 That “White Perfection” depends on the material used. Moreland 15mm Ply Glossy White cleans up better than ANY painted surface that I’ve had the opportunity to experience.

There are a few sites that list the festivals but if you Google Vanlife festivals in the UK you’ll get a good mix of options. Some are already sell outs for ‘23 🫶

I was at Quirky 😊🚐🐾 like u first time and so wasn’t sure. It was the furthest I’d been with the van and the dog but I agree it was fabulous 👍🏻😄 so many friendly faces and all there to have fun and enjoy all things van 🚐 and yes there were so many different ones and it was amazing to see what can be done. I did spot ur van whilst we were having a wander 🐾 but didn’t see you to say hello 👋 and more importantly have a hug 🤗 take care xx and yes please to more info re the new work shop and potential for retreat 🧘♀️

I canceled our booking when I realised it would be £45 for our three little dogs I’m sorry but how the hell do they justify that !!!

Can’t justify that can ya? It’s way too high…It’s a real shame as otherwise, it’s a great festival and so dog friendly 😞

@@OurVanTales yea it’s a shame you seemed to really like it after the shock lol it’s the same with the bigger music festivals they rinse the camper van and motorhomers as they think we have a few quid. We did Vanlovefest last year and going again this ! very different all on an RAF runway

Far too expensive for us 2 adults, 9 year old daughter and a dog £220. It’s ridiculous the prices nowadays.

It’s bonkers I know! This is the only festival we’ve been to that charges for dogs…Trouble is, it sells out so they’ve got ya by the balls if you want to go 😞

Glad I didn't go to Camp Querky. Nothing changed still stuck in a queue for half day and way way to expencive. Just greedy. £15 for a dog??? WTF???. . its just a big Rip off
