So happy to see Zuko and Krabs but Iroh is a nice surprise! Rocksteady I'm not the biggest fan of but he seems like a funny guy so I don't mind. Pretty great first dlc though! Hopefully we get a second pass, I'd love to see Dib : )

I really hope that we get multiple seasons of DLC for Nick Brawl 2, like a season for cut veterans (like Leo and Mikey, Toph, Sandy, Catdog, etc.) or even repping brand new franchises like Fanboy & Chum Chum or even they could do the unthinkable and finally give us Timmy Turner!

So I guess Mr.Krabs confirms background characters can become playable.

The best part is the devs finally revealed that that just because a character in a background or npc doesn’t deconfirm from them from being playable from the game.

Krabs should have a fishing rod and should have a smash attack where he drops his first dime like villager bowling ball

Nothing but kudos to the NASB dev team, they absolutely killed it giving this sequel everything we wanted and were missing from the first game!

One cool idea for a video (or maybe a series) is to make NASB 2 move sets for NASB 1 characters who were cut. Would be a cool “what if” scenario to think about how they would change and stuff. Idk if you already had that in mind. I feel like I remember you mentioning it one time.

If we get future DLC after these main four, I'm definitely hoping for Dib for Invader Zim, and Snap from Chalk Zone.

Obviously Mr. Krabs was gonna be the first DLC fighter, it's just in character for him to charge extra for the ability to play as him. As for Rocksteady, very surprising. I would have expected Casey if we were to get a new TMNT fighter

My thinking for Iroh is that he’d be a more defensive playstyle. Despite being a firebender, Iroh learned waterbending stances (e.g. for redirecting lightning) so I could totally see something like, turning opponents’ aggression against them, as his main playstyle.

The campaign looks amazing ,it’s the closest thing to Melee Adventure mode and Subspace.

I'm not the biggest fan of the 4 DLC picks if I'm being honest. Mr. Krabs is a good pick, as is Zuko, but I'm feeling iffy about Iroh and Rocksteady. 2 Avatar characters that are both fire-benders getting in one set of DLC feels odd. If it was Iroh and not Zuko, or Zuko and not Iroh, I'd feel a lot better about it, but both? As for Rocksteady, while I'm sure he'll be fun, I do wish the missing turtles were prioritized. Not only that, but it feels odd to have Rocksteady without Bebop. Maybe Bebop will appear in Rocksteady's moveset or something, but you'd think the devs would just make them a full-on tag team fighter at that point, like how the Beavers are. I'm hoping the next set of DLC, if it happens, brings back some characters from the first game. Maybe do a half and half thing, where 2 characters are returning vets from 1, and the other 2 not only are new fighters, but they're from series not yet represented in NASB2, cause that's another thing that bugs me about these choices; they're all from already represented series. Nobody is really a cool, out-there, unexpected pick. Idk, comparing the DLC picks from NASB1 to NASB2's so far is like night and day. Anyways, as for the campaign mode; I'm super excited for it. I really can't wait to try it out, especially as someone who mostly plays single player content anyways. NASB1's arcade mode would've been fine if there were other things to do, but since there wasn't, it made NASB1's single player offer pretty terrible, so I'm glad to see the sequel turning things around in that regard.

For DLC, I like to see Otis from Back At the Barnyard, Bessie from The Mighty B, Sandy, Leonardo, Michaelangelo return, Timmy Turner from Fairy Oddparents, and maybe Dreamwork rep but its probably unlikely.

loved the video! i didnt even know they showed off the dlc until right now, i was too distracted by the new trailer. everything about it looked great! the dlc characters are pretty mixed for me though. mr krabs and zuko are perfectly fine, id love to see how they play out. iroh's fine, i just don't really know much about them. (two avatar characters is also kinda eh, but that's fine) my main issue comes from rocksteady. it is honestly very similar to your issue. i personally dont really know who they are, but im sure other people like him. it's also nice to see another heavy, i enjoy those characters a lot. however, it feels like a case where nick didn't allow them to add another different character. that could not be the case, but still. also adding more tmnt without the 4 main turtles is a bit disappointing. (no new series represented can also be due to nick. it's a shame it was the characters with the most representation too.) recently on reddit, there was a poll on what characters people wanted to be added to nasb 2. mr krabs and zuko were high up there, which is great. there was however, a separate poll on what character people DIDNT want to join. rocksteady was top five. very unfortunate that a character that is outright unwanted by a decently large group is being added, but what can you do im sure people will be more okay with the characters as time passes, not even considering how people will be after they've all been released. i really do hope that if there's another wave of dlc, it could either be cut characters from nasb 1, or entirely new series represented. either way, great video as always ♥️

I just find it really interesting that they removed toph but are adding 2 more Avatar characters for dlc? interesting, wonder if the removed characters could return in a wave 2 or a free update...or a 3rd game

Not a big fan of the DLC honestly. I mean getting Mr. Krabs is cool, but I’m surprised they went with two Avatar characters, not to mention having Rocksteady without Bebop does feel weird. I would’ve at least replaced one of those characters with Luan Loud from The Loud House.

I'm really happy we're not getting all 4 turtles. Way more cast diversity this way.
