Camper Peus are my go-to-do-all shoes. They are very well made and last a lifetime without costing an arm and a leg. Mine are 7 years old now and look totally old and used but they still are just so comfortable. Even the insole still has its bounce and the lacing is genious! They hold up in bad weather and are my go to for playing streetsoccer with the kids. Best shoes I ever bought. I just kinda wish Camper would make some with a more rugged tread so I could take them hiking...

For all who are whining about the video... he has many more videos that go into much more detail and explain why he uses the chosen products. Also, the laces are probably just a pain in the A to untie and have a good patina to them, there not work boots it's not a big deal.

I am always trying to turn shoes into slip ons. Those laces would be just the thing.

Pam Heinze you can buy elastic 1/8 shock cord from Amazon. I replace the laces in many of my shoes with the cord and it works wonderfully

I have the exact same camper peus from 15 years ago, the leather is great but the sole is cracked & disintegrated, where could I get them resoled?

@@kikissabiz i was not wearing mines enough I guess, had them for 3yrs whore them probably 5 times, pulled them out the closet to wear them months later, cracked on the first step!

If I may offer a constructive comment. Personally, I would have found the video to be more effective if you provided commentary throughout the video. For example why did you select Chamberlain #2, as opposed to other products available. I didn’t know what Peu was until I stopped the video at 1:06 and read the text below the wording “Peu”. After spending some time studying the pictures of the shoes, I am left wondering if the shoe laces are intended to allow the shoe to be stretched when put on, rather than using the shoe lace in the traditional sense. Perhaps I’m off base on this point, not sure. In summary, I think some commentary would help to further clarify the message you are conveying. Hopefully this makes sense.

You really need to remove the laces and treat the WHOLE shoe including the tongue.

The problem with these shoes is their sole , so maybe someone might do a video on how to repair them or replace the soles which are pretty poor quality in my opinion !

My pair have been my most regularly used shoes for about 10 years and the sole is only just starting to wear through. If that's poor quality I'd love to know what good quality looks like. This probably sounds like an advert for campers but they are without a doubt the best casual shoes I've ever owned

I had to clean my only pair of casual shoes. So, as you can see I set up a camera and shot a video. My campers are 10+ years old and still comfortable.
