As an Army veteran, YES to this course! I am also a proud American and work hard to instill these values in my children. I appreciate your reviews! We just finished up the Constitution unit from TGATB. My kids learned so much, I also enjoyed it and learned some things!!

My 2nd oldest daughter started saying at 5 that she was going to join the military…Well she’s now 23 and a sergeant in the Marine Corp! I what’s thought she wouldn’t actually do it because kids change their minds on what they want to be when they grow up but nope not her…she graduated HS and within a month was off to boot camp🥴

Camp fire curriculum is a great curriculum. Thank you for sharing the military one I saw it online. My homeschool co-op just finished the Titanic curriculum this past year and it was really informative and interesting and like you said, I love how it ties Christ into it. all many blessings to you and your family. Definitely getting the Military unit for next school year - it looks great! My dad is a Marine and my grandpa served in the Army during the Korean War. Patriotism is in our blood. ❤

I've considered purchasing the military unit since my hubby is in the Navy, and our eldest is always talking about how he wants to join when he's older. The Independence Day unit looks really well done as well!

We will do the ER unit as a family starting in August. We are doing it as a family because my husband is an EMT so my kids help with his trainings. I know they will love this

Great video, Ashlee! ❤ I just purchased the ‘Zoology’ 🦒and ‘Natural Medicine’ 🍃units this week! We also completed the ‘Pirate’ 🏴‍☠️unit awhile back. It was perfect for when we were studying Blackbeard and that time period.

We are going to use the Meteorology unit as an elective spine! I would love to do the Independence Unit, and the Military Unit. We loved the Christmas Unit!

We are doing the Independence Day unit now. We do the activities and read alouds so we only spend about 30 minutes a day in the unit so we should finish around the 4th of July. I learned we should have done the military unit first but we will do it in October to prepare for Veterans Day

I so wish I could do these two units but I literally just sent my eldest to boot camp this morning. He’s heading to the airport with the USMC. I don’t think I can emotionally handle this unit. Hopefully next year when things calm down. I love campfire curriculum though. Their Resurrection Day unit was awesome.

Only based on research and observation (largely from your videos!), I feel like these would pair well with TGATB U.S. Constitution and Government course! This is a helpful video- thank you! No, you can easily do Independence Day without doing Military. It’s just a suggestion to do Military first because it flows right in to the Independence Day unit but it’s not required ☺️

You choose one and count as an elective if it takes an entire year, or choose two.

They have guidebooks for pre readers all the way to adult. All guidebooks and the core connections come automatically. My kids are 16, 14, and 7. The pre reader is mostly coloring pages, so my 7 year old colors while I work with her older sisters.

Are these units written from a child’s perspective? The vet unit is from two children talking and it was not our thing, so we sadly stopped it. How is this one written?
