Nice set up. I noticed you had the wind blowing through the front of your tent. In really cold winter months, it might serve you better to turn away from the wind. Just a guess.

It is summer there in Ecuador now, so probably not much of an issue. I'm guessing the direction was placed to watch the fishing line.

Hello, you're right, also the place where I camped is 2,500 meters above sea level, at that altitude and due to the strong wind, insects are not the biggest problem. 🙂

Hola. Me hubiera gustado eso, pero pase 3 horas intentando pescar una de buen tamaño, ya que picaban la carnada únicamente peces pequeños 😑😑

Great video! I'm curious, what is the shape of your tarp? The way it wrapped the back, it doesn't seem square or rectangular, unless it is an optional illusion created from the shape of the frame?

Nice cheap advertise video for your equipment, I bet this is one of the first time you going out; survival means living of what you have around you not the potato and vegies you carried with you, the stove is good but only last for few uses (also you have to carried the emptiest canister back with you). You are not “solo camping” someone is filming. This is only good to dose city persons that never experience what you trying to show; you may call anything else but “Camping alone in heavy rain. Fish to survive. Bushcraft. Camping in the rain” But good luck, you doing it very well, there are many people, like yourself, who have not seen or experienced a day or night in the field or forest.
