Hammock camping in the wilderness by the water with lots of frogs and geese. I rode in on the ATV to get deep as I could into the wilderness and camped next to this pond full of wild life. Cooked steak on grill over the fire.

That extended nap paid off for the late night concert of ribbets and honkers lol! Real nice looking spot by the pond. We're back from an 8 day RV'ing trip to Yosemite & Sequoia National Parks (pics on the gram). Got some weekend upgrades coming to the truck & camper, then going back out for a quick weekend trip soon afterwards. Always good to see you getting out there and trying different camping styles (whether it's shelters or hammocks, all cool stuff!), and I'll be looking for the next one! Cheers! Great Video, I received an hammock last January as a birthday gift and can't wait to give it a try , I've never slept in one so could be interesting LOL. That pillow seemed like a neat idea Nothing like a little nap after a walk , but that's always my issue if I nap the I can't sleep at night. Good supply of dry wood , hate it when I cut a tree and it gets hung up in the higher stuff, and it usually happens lol. Gotta Love the Bitty Big Q grill. The steak and veggies got me drooling here LOL The frogs and birds were pretty active in the evening, I was thinking will be pretty annoying if they don't quiet over night just as you said it LOL. Love the sound of the geese my guess pairing up to mate now looking for nesting locations.

Ya the animals were wild on this trip. Practice setting up your hammock at home. Do some googling for hanging tips and don't sleep 12 to 6. Once you have it figured out you'll love it. Just some learning curves at first.
