Camping in Friesland day1 - Exploring Netherlands

2 ай бұрынTime for another trip, this time exploring the Netherlands. Last fall, quite spontaneously, I decided it was time to go camping. Since I hadn't really visited the north of the Netherlands, I decided it was high time to go there. And where exactly, to the province of Friesland, of course.
So join me on a virtual tour of the Dutch north.

Good to see everything under control with the camping. It seems to take for ever now to find affordable hotels. Camping is coming my way soon I'm sure. Nice to hear the local history too. Cheers 👍

Thanks Paul. For this year camping I have different tent, I was planning to try it this weekend but of course it's pouring like crazy. In exchange for testing the tent, I will test the beer with my friends 🤣 cheers

Hi Andy, thanks so much for your videos. The technical ones are very helpful, and your trips are very interesting to see! Are you planning on getting an exhaust (Akrapovic?) for the new Versys, like your old one? If yes or no, why so? Also, did you notice poor performance requiring fueling adjustment afterwards on the old Versys? I have a 2023 V1K myself. I visited the Netherlands in 2018 and it is a beautiful country. Thanks, I don't plan on buying Akrapovic for my Versys. The exhaust in the previous Versys model was very quiet, which caused dangerous situations on the road. In the 3rd generation, the exhaust is improved and sounds quite nice and louder. Besides, I think that over €800 for an Akrapovic exhaust is a bit excessive. As for your question about performance, you'll have to explain it more because I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Cheers
