the best thing of his video, which makes his videos different from others, is chatting with viewers. he is not like other who just come and spent time in a big tent, eat sleep and finish (without speaking a single word). So huge respect for this person and his interaction abilities.

I don’t know if I’ve ever said this before but your videography skills are bar none the best of any KZfaqr I have ever seen. And unless your wife is always secretly along, staying quiet, and always out of the picture (and your tent, lol) running ahead to place cameras, then running behind to grab them, I don’t know how in the hell you have a day job. This stuff has got to take hours to do and edit. Cheers Luke. You are such a great KZfaqr and you are my happiness when I get home and see you have a new vid posted.

Hi Luke. Thank you for yet another great adventure video. I love this original talkative channel. Please never stop!. It's full of constant & great information. With all that said i wanted you to know that i think the music in this video is perfect, it's subtle. The music you use in the end of this video is perfect, it's strong, it is absolutely fitting to your whole theme of your channel. The "you're still here?" music and update/commentary is pretty awesome too. Cheers to you Luke cheers!

BRS makes that micro pocket rocket stove that will fit on a watch pocket and works great. Donate the drone to Ukraine. Sending mine there. The sky is being opened for commercial drones. As well as being closed for civilians. The war in UKRN has taught a big new lesson to us. Less than the size of you hand, undetectable can be utter disaster. Good vid..

Luke I am subscribed to both your channels. However I enjoy the time of your voice. As a child my bedroom was next to our living room so I always fell asleep to my Dad watching tv. So unless the person is screaming or being loud I enjoy a person talking. I just simply put the video on loop when I’m going to sleep. That way I don’t get any loud advertisements that could wake me up. The sound of rain is just so peaceful. I knew your new channel would be successful. I appreciate you & all of the time & effort you are taking to produce both channels. ❤. Stay safe my friend!

Nice one Luke👍👍 No mess, no fuss, just an easy night in the forest. Truck camping is my go to here in the high desert, no worries about critters at night of which there are many, just illegals. My Aqua Quest tarp is used mostly for sun shade sadly, not much rain here. Can only imagine the wonderful scent in the forest after the rain there, something I rarely get to enjoy. Great video, well done of course, thanks for the work. See you next time.

I have never seen Luke cook over an open fire. I can't imagine any person who loves the outdoors not grilling over an open fire or some charcoal. A big bag of that natural hardwood charcoal is wonderful to cook with. Especially on a rainy day when the wood is wet. Seriously, who doesn't have a grill and charcoal when they are outdoors? It strikes me as just weird and we never get an explanation.

Cool stove. Sure beats my old 3 burner Big Green. For the longest time I rarely drank coffee. I've never made cowboy coffee. There were always things weird instructions to settle the grounds. Your little bit of cold water makes more sense. I will have to try it. I've long wanted a little coffee/tea pot like yours. It looks like you've set up the tarp right next to some bushes. Almost like a wall. I'm an older guy, but have wanted to get a simple drone to play with. I have seen so many remarkable creator' s beautiful drone videos. The idea of drone restrictions really sucks.

I was thinking about this just the other day. The amount of time you must have to spend on setup and takedown for shots of all aspects of your trips must be very time consuming, let alone editing. The quality is appreciated, as it feels like we're really getting to go along with you. Your efforts make watching AND listening as stress-relieving as an actual trip to the outdoors...we just have to go home a lot sooner! 🐺

When I was in the USAF, and I was on graves rotation, I'd sit on the loading dock and watch F-16's light up the whole runway from spilled fuel that is unburned from the afterburners. It was really awesome to experience that. Probably not as cool as it was for the pilots, but I was never that gifted. I was a box kicker.

Your setup is similar to one we made for fishing trips in the early 70's in the ADK. We had a new 1969 GMC Jimmy, one of the very first 4WD SUVs. It had sliding screened rear windows and we slept in it in our first trip. Getting in and out was difficult and it was hard to keep out mosquitoes and black flies. We added a tarp with center and corner poles so we could cook on the tailgate in rain but we never did solve the insect problem. We added a small 8X10 cabin tent without a fly or awning, which was better for sleeping and made do. It eventually evolved to a 12x12 cabin tent with a fly and a screened awning where we could cook inside and that was ideal altho it took a little more time to set up. Our camping and fishing trip culminated in a 7 person family trip with both tents and 2 vehicles. You provide a valuable service by testing gear and showing how it's done.

Well, no one wants to talk about the last 5+ years that drones have been in the news for being in places that they shouldn’t. Spying on people in their privacy…interfering with fire fighters, aircraft, law enforcement, etc. See, there’s an entitled segment of our society that knows that their actions will cause laws, but as long as their channels and their bank accounts swell in the meantime, they don’t care. So, as ridiculous as it is, entitled Americans have handed our privacy to “the powers that be” on a platter.

The perfect chill out truck camping adventure, lots of rain and storms but no strong winds to spoil the fun. With so much rain it would have made for a perfect tent(s) test night, but this video was all about truck camping and I'm sure Luke enjoyed his adventure all the same. Very cool twin camping gas stove, like the fold out compact design and it looked solid and very well made, especially considering it's an Ali Express item, affordable price too.

Awesome video, Luke! I love the stove and want one for my van. The fact that it folds into itself is super for my needs. I own two drones and never have used either one. Guess they will never get flown now. The movie, Windtalkers, was a magnificent movie tribute to the Navajo code talkers.

Some things are like plumbing; you don't notice them until something goes wrong. I now notice that your multi-sound system never goes wrong, so I am not sure I have noticed how well it works until this video. Thanks for explaining, because it helps us notice the sounds, especially the sweet morning sounds. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe, and enjoy the forest.

I love the fighter jets! I live in windsor ont Canada across the river from Detroit Michigan! Because we have no close fighter jet! The American jets protect us! During 9/11 the flew over my house because of how close I lived to the river! When I saw the American flag! I was shocked but felt safer! I guess a lot of border cities are like that. Great video Luke!

your comments about drones, while they are justified. if you look at it in the same light as having/flying a personal GA aircraft, its just making sure the airways and airspaces are not dangerous for all users of those airspaces whether it be military, commercial or private. so if its rules similar to that then yeah cool but anymore invasive then what's is already required then that is an issue.

I am normally a one cup of coffee a day person. I almost always have a 2nd cup when I watch your videos. I love "going camping" with you. Thank you. By the way, my coffee, for about 35 years(!) is Folgers instant with a spoon full of powdered hot chocolate (Nestles) and 3 spoons of non-dairy powdered creamer. Mmmmm. 😊

Note to self: do not watch these awesome videos after 7 p.m. as I will inevitably have to have a cuppa coffee with you LOL. I love the sound of rain in the forest. It's so loud, but it's a different kind of loud than city loud. Much more relaxing for sure. I've been so busy this year with working that I have only been able to camp twice, so thank you for taking me camping with you!

I usually sleep in the roof tent but one night we were in the back of the truck in a heavy thunderstorm and I could hear grunting. 2 meters from the truck a big bruin was sniffing around the camp. Glad we were inside that might as he was easily tall enough to get at the roof tent.

I too had copyright issues with KZfaq. I used an obscure music groups songs as background music and for cut scenes. After a few years I was hit with a violation. I removed the music from my videos and reposted. Then a Chinese group said I still had violated a copyright on one video. When I checked it out all the music was removed except two notes. This Chinese group claimed copyright off of two notes. I pulled all my videos and now just watch others.

@@emsp8he enjoys what he does. Like every KZfaq video is supposed to be and if y'all like it you'll subscribe. It's not about what y'all want lmao that's what flies right over your heads. People make certain content on what they like doing. Not what everybody else likes them to do. Why do you think they say if you like this video then like and subscribe. Just like with people making music if you don't like their music then obviously you're not going to listen to it. But that don't mean they're going to change it up just for you. They're doing their own style. That's what y'all don't really understand😂

@@chottimirit's not about y'all it's about what they like to do and what they post. That's what flies right over your head. Just like when people make certain music or whatever and you don't like it you're not going to listen to it. If you don't like it move on. They're making content for what they like doing and posting it on here for people liking the same thing. It's really not about y'all. 😂😂 Y'all think y'all will run the channel when it's really him running the channel y'all just make him money. I think the big issue on drones that caused all those regulations to go into place was the fact that you had people who lived in neighborhoods in town were flying them over other peoples property and spying on them while they were for example laying out by the pool, unfortunately, as with most things, a very small percentage of people who misuses something causes everyone else to have to suffer BS restrictions as a result of it
