Really nice camper look like plenty room for couple people & nice-looking F-150. Big Pine Nice Campground perfect weather, wish we could hook up and head there now.

We have had a lot of campers and outside of a drivable RV this is the easiest set up.

I stayed there for over 45 years and was owned by the Gladwells until just recently. It was by far the best family atmosphere in all the Keys .Over the years I introduced over 50 families to BPKFL to this great maintained park .But I stayed there in July and sad to say I was very disappointed in the upkeep and dirty restrooms.I can only hope the large company that purchased it will get it together.

We met some folks that were very sad to see the change of ownership, but I will say the new GM seemed very nice and Annett is still at the counter and she was awesome! Maybe they are just going through growing pains and will get things together! We had a nice time...

We were at Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge in March and we loved it. We had a sight right next to the bathhouse - which meant no one one was behind us and no one was beside us on the one side. It was great! Hope to go back soon.

Things begin to slow down a bit in April...still not super slow but better than January! The slowest months down here are September and October.

I’m a knew subscriber. Ytube was spying on our conversation. We’re in Key West at sigbee right now considering staying. I just have to say I’m 41 and take care of myself so I don’t (as my Grand Momma used to say) “let yourself go” So I must say you look fabulous! I pray I can keep it together and look half as good as you do.

Been to that campground many times……its OK but not great. Pretty much what you are gonna get for the $$$$ in the Keys.! Its all relative when u r in the Keys. But if you want to rough it this is an adequate place. Nothing fancy but very affordable if you are down for fishing/diving with no frills! It aint no Ritz but great for the hard core fishermen/divers that dont need all the ammenities and just want a clean place to camp/stay. You can always drive to bars and restaurants nearby. As far as a place to lay your head its great!😎

Bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie and it also came with a 23 gallon tank. After one tow with the boat I said heck no, I ordered a 33 gallon tank from the dealer and had them do the retrofit, yes it cost me a penny but I'm planning on keeping it long term so it was a no brainer.

Man $150 a night, I might have to park on the side of the road, got an old converted school bus or hit the state parks if they will even let me in with it. Looks like an old bus outside much different on the inside. I do enjoy the videos..

8:00 There's no cheating physics when it comes to pulling a load! Agree on the cooled seats. This year I bought a 2007 Cadillac XLR with 36,000 miles and it's the first car I ever owned with them. Inversely, heated seats (far more common) are a total waste in Florida except if one of you wants the A/C really cold, then the heated seats let everyone be happy! 10:40 On Nov. 8th when international travel is allowed I bet you'll have a Canadian invasion!

Love your little camper. I could easily live in that. I love being in small places since I am alone. Laurie, I have a question for you. What brand sandal were you wearing in this video. I have very narrow feet and those looked great. I usually have to have the thong type with as many adjustable straps I can get and they looked perfect. I have several pr of Sketcher ones similar to those, but I really liked the look of yours. I probably already told you that I had my last cruise planned for Dec. and it was cancelled, so that is a bummer, so I am getting my sunshine and warmth through you two.

Hi Joyce! It would be great for one person 😃 My sandal are Chacos brand. I have had them for 5 years or so and they are great! They have good traction, arch support, and very comfy. Great as water shoes too. I am glad we can bring you sunshine and warmth!

Big Pine Fishing Lodge changed hands recently and rates rose astronomically. Another reason besides October theres no one there.

Actually their rates are comparable to the other ocean front campgrounds in the Keys. All the campgrounds are sparsely filled in October.

What would be the best campground in the keys for families with small kids and a friendly pit bull. Trying to get down there Thanksgiving weekend and the week after.

We haven't been to all the campgrounds yet but so far I would recommend Jolly Rogers RV resort or Sunshine Key RV Resort. You will have to check on the pit bull part though.

Been following you guys since you started. Should of never gotten rid of the old truck. Hopefully you realize the 6 speed ones bring 30k with high mileage now. They keep going up in value where that f150 is going down. Also the torque might be close to a stock cummins but its really not because the cummins makes its peak numbers at such a low rpm. A light tune on it and that f150 would be no where close. I still have my 06 I bought new and a 97 mechanical cummins. Had the newer trucks but they're not for me. Oh you could of hooked up some newer cooled seats in your old truck pretty easy if that's what you wanted.

@@GablesOnTheGo awesome. Yes 30k. How many miles are on it? Look up gateway car connection. They specialize in pre emissions diesels. They sell their inventory super fast. They even have a text alert list before they post them.

So my Dodge has 202K miles on it, and I called the guy at Car Connection and they don't take anything over 150k miles, but he said my truck was a hot seller and that he would recommend putting a price of $18k on it, and ironically that's exactly what we were asking! The truck is up in north Georgia now and we will be selling it up there. Thanks!

@@GablesOnTheGo they would price it with 100k at 39,990 or 43,990. List it on a Cummins facebook page. Guys ask 30k all the time and they sell. As long as its not rusted out. If I was in the market I would buy yours up in a second for 18k. If its a 4x4 and rust free I wouldn't take less than 28k. Family friend just sold one that was a relative that passed. 160k for 34,000

Yep, sort of reluctantly but we just weren't using it much like we thought we would, and we needed a new truck worse than an RV, so a new truck and trailer were a better decision for us. Sold the motorhome to a good friend who uses it constantly....it went to a good home!! Thanks for asking Charles, I can tell you keep up with us...we appreciate that!

We do still live in the Keys, we just love RVs and camping so we wanted to share the local campgrounds with people and it was a fun mini-vacation😁

It was actually only 6 miles from our house 😀 We have people working on the house now so we are incorporating those repairs as they get done. Hopefully a video coming soon!

So the brand new truck gets 8mph or the old dodge?

The new truck gets 8mpg , the old Dodge got 14mpg pulling anything, and it got 24 or or so on the highway not pulling....but it's tough to show real estate in an old Ram straight shift that sounds like a tractor...but I do love that old truck!

F150 getting 8MPG towing 5500 lb trailer over flat florida? That is terrible... especially @ Biden's $5/gallon. $150/night for a trailer site?! .. In October with shared bathrooms?! After spending $1000 in gas to get there... This does not make vacation financial sense. I''m staying North
