Boat camping and fishing on the Loddon river at Bridgewater. This is my first time camping overnight on my boat which is a Qunitrex Renegade 44SC.

Great video mate. One tip I’ll find is you won’t get a surface boof with the head torch on the water :). Tight lines

Great Stuff Brenton. Always good fun doing the boat camping trip. It was a shame you wasn't rewarded by some good fishing. How was the water clarity?

I find the Loddon a bit hit or miss. This was from a week or so ago and the water clarity was not very good.

Beautiful Evening/Morning and something different staying out on the boat. Got a bit excited for you when the bells went off in the night, but don't worry, that first Cod will happen for the season soon. Nice job Brenton and best of luck on your next trip out. Cheers!

I thought for sure you were going to have a Cod on the cheese rod at 3:30am. Boat camping looked like a lot of fun mate, hopefully that first Cod of the season is coming soon.

Yeah I also thought I might have had a cod on. I have had no luck in the Loddon so far so might need to try somewhere else

Haha. Yeah Les always tells me if there are fish there he will catch them. So maybe next time I should bring him along. lol 😂
