All the fishing lures and tackle i use are from cavyfishing.com/
Spending 24 hours on a remote Japanese island in the freezing cold nights. Japanese friend @user-rc2ym9hn5j catches a Yellowfin Tuna on a Popper, right where i was fishing moments before lol. Watch the full video to see what the rest of my trip in Japan was like... Uh oh hahaha. Big donuts, almost!

Thanks for posting even though the fish weren’t biting. When you watch videos and people only show monster fish but not the quiet, fishless days it can be frustrating when I have days like that. Hope u had a mad trip bro👊🏽

Well to be honest this was way more days with no fish then i showed... Like 2-3 weeks of no fish hahaha. That's why at the end of the video i said what i said lol. Yeah for sure it's called fishing not catching, and still despite the lack of fish was still nice hiking and views, yew!

Yeah at the end I was just wrecked, sick, tired and too much casting for no fish, arm was basically broken from a fall I had that missed on camera too! But you’re correct, the views and fresh air is what it’s all about sometimes. Much appreciated and blessing to you too 👍🏾

Why not? I see lots of Japanese traveling? But i can you can say the same about anyone country. There is probably more people that don't see as much as their own country than a traveler does. But yeah super stunning looking place! Just needs more fish haha

Yeahh .. Japan 🇯🇵 maan. Famous spot . - certainly fished out . Most frustrating place I ever fished , except the end of the Melbourne wharf . Looks excellent but just no fish , Certainly a good case for imposing fishing restrictions and sizes to help conserve and enhance future stocks . Go to the fish markets or local supermarket to see what the local people are prepared to eat … Anyway, great vids mate , keep it rockn dude 👍😉

Cavy you need to sell that complete fishing set you opened up at the beginning of the video with exactly everything you had in it. People wouldn’t have to worry about everything they would need to buy to fish off the rocks.

Fishing is tough sometimes. Most of the time if you're a dry fly fisherman like myself. Still love to see that part as well, doesn't all have to be super successful trips with massive fish!

I do agree, actually watching people catch fish after fish is kind of boring to be realistic, so yeah the struggles is part of the adventure for sure! I was just hoping for a little bit more from such an amazing looking place! And i cut the video down a lot, spent many more fish less days then what i showed haha. Not sure what boots you ended up with, but I would highly recommend the Korkers All Access Shoes or the Swift Sandals with one of the choices of studded soles. Great for slippery salt water jetty rocks. Should work for what you are doing a well. Love watching the videos. Yeewww.

Cavy theyre called Nenue here in Hawaii the one you snagged HELLA strong fish Theyre algae eaters and guys use either algae or bread to target them People use medium tackle and I know guys whove been spooled

hey cavy I know that you might not see this comment but if you try micro jigging with a 1½ ounce glow in the dark jig at night it's possible to catch a moster fish but this is just my assumption because it always works to me and my friends

Pound for pound one of the strongest fish in the ocean! In Hawaii it is called a Nenue fish. SO strong. They eat squid, bread and mostly seaweed.

I recommended the tabis. If you got the ones with spikes they are no good on smooth slippery rocks.

Yeah, it was dinner!!! I absolutely love maguro sashimi and I just couldn’t understand why they let it go. I could understand if they were catching so many, but it really didn’t look that way. It wasn’t that small and it was perfect eating size. As for keeping the fish, the water is cold and it was freezing at night??? I can understand catch and release, but every single time, what’s up?

I hope despite the lack of fish you had a good trip man. I definitely blame the bananas. I was showing some tourists how to spike and bleed their fish once because they were just letting them air drown and i cant stand that, and to thank me they gave me a banana.. they didn't know any better so i was polite and accepted it, and then it was like every fish in a 5km radius of me went on holiday... ah well, still worth it to make sure they knew how to treat fish with respect if they weren't releasing them. 😊
