To all the people complaining about her bringing/wearing makeup while camping... she never said YOU had to bring any makeup or wear it so shush please! She is hardly wearing makeup anyway, she didn't use concealer, blush, eyeshadow, or anything too fancy. She is wearing chapstick and sunscreen with minimal eye makeup so can y'all PLEASE shush? I don't see why people are complaining about wearing makeup when camping. I go camping all the time with my family and I like to wear makeup when I go just in case we decide to go visit the local area but makeup also makes me feel better about myself maybe mer feels the same. And mer is wearing the clothes that make her feel comfortable so why are people moaning about the fact that shorts aren't acceptable not to be rude or anything but camping is usually done in summer so shorts are the most comfortable to wear. Yall need to chill

This is not how a real camping looks like. I mean, if you like this kind of camping it's ok but I think more people should try camping in wild nature where you with some group of friends make fireplace, cook some food, build a tent, just enjoy the company after a day of hiking in some beautiful place. You just enjoy every moment and do some crazy stuff like swimming in cold water in autumn and then getting warm at the fireplace. This is what really makes a good and memorable hike and this is what I like. I don't suggest going to the extremes but trying to get rid of all the makeup, technology and other stuff is really great and worth trying. With a good company and beautiful nature you can forget all the problems and you don't even have time to do make up. And if some of you worry how you look to others, then consider if your friends are the right friends for you if they're going to judge how you look when camping.

This is totally how I camp unlike my friends always need makeup like 3 big bags of clothes they will never jump in the water with me and so on I think I'll have to find friends you do camping the same way as me😂

I do not recommend wearing converse on a camping trip! You'll slide on the rocks and they are horrible for hiking! I know from experience! I also don't recommend spending too much time on make up lol it will just run in the water and get pretty messed up by the end of the day XD

I'm not gonna say " not to be rude but" because what i'm fixing to say is rude. But she did everything your not suppose to do in nature. Your not suppose to wear scented stuff or perfume. Your not really suppose to wear poppy colored stuff those kind of things attract animals. you can wear shorts if its hot but that short your gonna jacked up. You aint supposed to wear converse because your feet are gonna be jacked your supposed to wear boots or sports shoes. I dont even know why you would bring makeup to go camping. She didnt even say you needed to pack stuff like a knife or a compass and stuff. that kind of stuff you need. smh

Not being hateful or rude :) but in the introduction she said that this isn't just for camping it's for anything like vacations abroad or something like that and just because Meredith is wearing makeup doesn't mean you do it's just what you feel comfortable in, makeup or not. I personally wear a bit of makeup when I'm camping so I look refreshed in the mornings :) again no hate just a little comment

I live in the middle of nowhere and my friends and I camp all the time for fun (yeah, we live so far out that camping is what people do to get out of the house), and you don't have to look ugly to camp. I mean we don't wear much makeup other than sunscreen and mascara anyways but I mean you can still look cute in shorts and an old flannel. sometimes I go camping with a group of really cute guys (including my crush) and tbh I try to look cuter than usual even though were camping
