The Schmalkalden University is a university of applied sciences in Thuringia. It is idyllically situated at the edge of the Thuringian forest. The green campus is one of the most beautiful university campuses in Thuringia and in Germany. The lecture rooms, laboratories, dining hall, library, dormitories and sport’s facilities are all within easy-walking distance.

Hi. Im currently a UG student pursuing mechanical engineering in India. I'm planning on pursuing my Masters in the field of mechatronics automation and robotic systems. Could you suggest as to how I could go ahead with the formalities of applying for this institution and a few tips regarding how to get admission would be helpful. My current CGPA is 9.24/10 according to Indian standards and I'm currently in my 3rd year of Bachelors degree. Also if you could share relevant information regarding the various scholarships that can be availed by Indian students (for covering the living expenses predominantly) it would be helpful. Thank you.

is finding accomodation difficult? How much do they charge for accommodation?

Its a bit difficult, but the rent is around 220-280 euro.

A lot of German students apply for Economics, so there's a bit of a competition. I don't know the exact acceptance rate but its not super high. If u have a good profile then u have nothing to worry.

@@popoyotty6033Usually they send the acceptance letter first that too 2 weeks from the last date of application, once they are done with that then they'll send out rejections.
