Can just one tack shooter get every single POP in CHIMPS mode in BTD6? The 2 Megapops Achievement in Bloons TD 6 is awarded after you beat CHIMPS mode on any map with only 1 tower getting 2 million pops. In BTD6 CHIMPS there are roughly 2,040,000 pops available so you have to be careful what towers to place down. This can be very tough since not all towers can pop lead or camo in Bloons TD 6. Will this one tower be enough to achieve 2 million pops in 100 Rounds of BTD6?

I was able to successfully beat this map on chimps with a 502 tack with 100% pops. I dropped the 000 tack and then saved up for Gerry and bought him as soon as I had the money. Then upgraded to a 302 tack. I used a camo pot on round 24 and then got a 300 village then a 020 village just in time for the camo pot to wear off and not need another one. I then upgraded to a 402 for round 40. I was able to just get the MIB 030 village before the purples showed up on round 45 (with the timing of being able to afford the camo and the MIB it felt meant to be). The 402 was able to make it to 57 before needing any help (besides the village). So the MIB got upgraded to 032 and then bought a 023 glue set to strong under the discount (got the glue splatter now because I knew it would be needed for round 63 anyway). Need Gerry's Fire to beat the BFB on round 60 and another one on 72 (again to beat the BFBs). All this min/maxing allows you to slow down round 75 and spam the Inferno Ring upgrade button JUST in time to beat the round (again feeling meant to be). Then set it to strong. Third and last Gerry's Fire on Round 91 because I knew it would need it at some point and might as well have it for the full last 10 rounds. On Round 98 upgrade glue to 024 and get a 040 engineer and use Overclock right when it comes off CD the first time. Use Overclock right at the start of round 100 and again when it comes off CD. 502 Tack ends up with 2,042,693 pops and has $79,259 to spare. The reason for this test was to see if primary expertise range and pierce was enough to allow the top path tack to go bottom cross path and still have enough pierce. Test was not done in challenge editor but would not have been a black border because I already had it and wanted to min max the build at took 3 or 4 exits.

@Critter1331 Saying 502 might have worked better without support is the usual comment that means nothing to anyone. It's like doing a math problem and not showing your work. That and it seemed to work out perfectly on 3 occasions that it seemed like a waste to not to share with anyone who might be curious.

If the tower is anywhere near where the BAD will fly, it's probably going to get some shots off. If Geraldo had been on the left side, he would have still been at zero

for the ring of fire, if you get primary training/mentoring, it's better to crosspath it with the bottom path (502), because it does more damage and it gets extra pierce from the village, which is way more than enough pierce.

Nope, the primary source of damage on the INFERNO RING is the meteor which has very low pierce but high damage, it's much better to go middle parh since that increases the pierce of the meteor allowing it to hit many moabs at once making rounds like 98 much more manageable. The actual ring of fire doesn't do much once DDTs start coming out.

@@Yuni-is-Schrodingers-Fox The meteor gets more damage, though (I believe 1000 to 700) and you can buff it with pierce upgrades from village. Ring of fire, middle path is sometimes better due to pierce and dealing with clumped bloons but bottom path Inferno Ring gets more overall damage and pierce can be made up for.

Relentless does affect moab's and ddt's I also agree that using Gerry's fire seems a bit cheaty yeah as it's not really the tower, and though on a custom map, Raxzor was able to get 2mp on the longest map with the aid of Gerry's fire with the 000 glue ;-;

The Ring of Fire is absolutely good for MOABs, just 2 4-0-2s can melt one on round 40

My vote would be for a druid run. I can't think of a map where the Avatar is able to pop but the booster (?) druids are not but it would be cool to see that tower. I think Spirit is the coolest tower so that would also be a good comparison. Otherwise the top path boomerang monkey would be interesting maybe on Resort

I would love to see sniper! you could do something cool like get a elite defender as your main dps, but then have the elite sniper middle path guy to be somewhere where he cant hit the bloons but still buff!

It pains ne for hime bot to go for 5-0-2. The extra tacks is so much better. And the rjng of fire has a lot of pierce anyways so middle is not as good as a crosspath. It really does pain me seeing people not use the best crosspath but anyways good work as always and hope your kid is doing well.keep up the good work.

The inferno ring meteor get extra pierce if you go for the middle path. Yes his early-mid game was harder but late game was a lot easier because of the crosspath

@@owenkjellthe only time when 520 is better is with no buffs, if you can buff it, especially with primary training and stuff, ALWAYS 502, the extra damage is way better, since you can make up the pierce

@@AwesomeDomi1 when Inferno ring is your only damage tower you want as much pierce as you can get. Yes you can make up pierce but on rounds like 98 you need as much pierce as you can get

@@owenkjell the pierce difference is minuscule compared to the damage difference, the primary training gives pierce and range, but there isn’t a simple way to give it damage like the crosspath

@@AwesomeDomi1 the only time you need the extra damage is for single targets like bads; and for chimps the extra damage isnt as useful as the extra pierce. Yes you can give it more with village but when you use it as your only source of damage you NEED the pierce of middle path

I think using Geraldos Fire isnt cheating. Some towers definitely will need the extra dmg in the early rounds. Mainly something like the Sniper Monkey will need it. Megapops on Snipers is one of the hardest. I still would like to see you try Mortar Monkey megapops. Specifically The Biggest One. Mortar being one of the towers new or casual players never like and say is trash. Which is sad bc it is a better camo reveal tower than the sub on most maps. The camo reveal can keep up with every wave until DDTs. Also same path giving you fortification strip and massive MOAB dmg. Its one of the key towers i used for infernal black boarder. Also if you didnt know i believe Pickles buffs Geraldos fire

Any chance of getting one with Spike Factory on Logs? I think it’d give it the most time to stack up in the earlier game rounds and late game either Carpet of Spikes or Super Mines would be solid contenders.

Yes but middle path provides more pierce. Since he's doing only one tower pierce is more important.

@BigBear48 mb, you're right abt that one, but more damage also means faster kill speed. you don't go for a 402 dart, you go for a 420. you don't go for a 205 dart, you go for an 025

@@O1O1OOO1tipYou'd just use a sub until you can get the super monkey and then submerg it to reveal all the camos for the rest of the game. So technically you could never get all pops on a super monkey in C.H.I.M.P.S.

Every beginner map can be black bordered with sauda, 205 tack, 420 alc, 025 wizard, 300 village.

I'm pretty sure the alch would get more than 5k pops. You couldn't do a cross path with it either. The best bet on this would do what he did but also use a call the arms instead of an ultra boost. The 50% attack speed for the fire balls is alot
