I speak from experience and actually participated in the recovery of the biggest nugget found in the black hills, known as the "icebox" nugget which is in display in Rapid City. I've been combing the black hills for years. Geology, mycology, and foraging is my thing. But if you do find load of nuggets, please let me know.🤣🤣 jkjk. Happy trials bud.

was looking to see if anyone else noticed it. The Gold bar is mostly Gold Plated.. at 13:02 you can actually see the gold color faded away in the left side of that gold bar, showing it's actual color

While it may appear to be gold plated, I can assure you that this is what gold being shot by a bullet with various chemicals in it looks like. The metal from the bullet embeds and burns like a layer on the hood. Plus I’ve worked in foundries and refined gold… that is 10000% real gold.

The lead color is from the bullets. It's real solid gold

You are absolutely incorrect.. what you think shooting a bullet with various powders and chemicals inside it at high velocity will keep the gold exactly gold colored? News flash, gold bars, real authenticated gold bars have been shot before and they absolutely have that silverish coloration to them on the inside afterwards. Quit being an armchair pseudo scientist. There’s other videos where the guy turned around and sold the bar he shot on eBay after getting it tested and fully authenticated.. sold it for $55k+. Think one step deeper before just hand waving a gut feeling.

The silver colour left on the gold bar is just fresh untarnished lead from the bullet.

It's a smaller cross-section of the bullet going faster. That means it's automatically going to be better at penetration, not necessarily a better cartridge ballistically.
