I think the most decisive turning point in the war was the empire's success in Ibydad which saw the northern front come to an end and allowed the army to focus its efforts southwards.

The smaller kingdoms never had any ACTUAL fighting force army, while the big kingdom always had that main large army, so the smaller kingdoms did keep retaking cities from the big kingdom, but never actually inflicting damage to their army, so when the big kingdom stepped up and rolled down their main army on everyone, it was over

Yellow Big Kingdom defeating the orange Kingdom in North west side was the turning point of the game. Because they had to keep lot of armies in North west side but after that these armies joined the middle front and helped crush the other kingdoms And also small kingdoms were winning when big kingdom armies were scattered all over the map

I think the problem might’ve been with making them all human, maybe doing a big empire of elves versus a bunch of small dwarf kingdoms would’ve worked out better, especially since angry villagers would’ve made certain battles last much longer.

Start with a bunch of orc nations on one side of the world who are warring with one another on a small continent, then on another continent, a single dwarf nation that has time to grow and prosper - I think seeing what would happen and who would come out on top would be fun

I did something like this a while back, had a maxed out Elven kingdom fight against 100 Orcish kingdoms each with the same or more population than the Elves. The Elves beat the orcs every time.

If that top could have held out for a little longer I think the small kingdoms would have had it.

When super kingdom captured north it was already the end. Super kingdom had to concentrate all of their army at either south or north. When army was at north, south attacked and vice versa. But when they took north this loop was stopped. The most convenient thing is that north was also blocked of from south and could only get through center. It means that no one could take north without inventing ships first. And welp... They didn't have enough time.
