Can a CFMoto Zforce 800 trail survive Moab? The answer may surprise you...

We took the CFMoto to Moab and rode some great trails including Seven Mile Rim and Fins and Things. We had to take many alternate lines compared to our friends on their Razrs. The small wheels and low ground clearance combined with the worst suspension ever put on a SXS made things challenging. It was really fun anyway!
The first thing I did was order some harness style seat belts because the stock belts really aggravate your neck after a while. The next thing I did is order some proper suspension for the machine. I ordered the Elka stage 2’s from Hesters. I will also look into 27” tires when mine wear out.
I think that with these improvements, I will be able to get a smoother ride.

Nice video. This didn't really surprise me though. My CFMOTO has always really impressed me what it can go through and still does

Looks like fun! Were you guys on 24 headed towards Woodland Park on Saturday? We were headed out to ride and saw a Honda towing a blue ZForce 800.

Remove your sway bars and it will do much better in those conditions and, it's still going to be very stable. I am a CFMOTO owner and the bars are gone off my machine. Articulation is soo much better. I also added Elka stage 1 shocks.

Yes, right after this trip I put on Elka stage twos and disconnected the sway bar. Soooo much better!

@@ark6959 Great! I also added four Tusk Terribite tires and they do an awesome job. I assumed you could feel it carrying tires in the air, and that is no help on trails like that.

New CF Moto Z Force 800 EX owner here. Can you tell me about your helmets and the box you have in the bed of the buggy.

Congratulations on the new machine! The helmets we are wearing in the Moab video are mountain bike helmets since we also ride bikes in Moab. Currently we are wearing the Bell Custom 500 helmets with some cool vintage visors I found on Amazon. Here’s a link to the helmet www.bellhelmets.com/motorcycle/p/custom-500-cruiser-motorcycle-helmet/250030000200000001.html I’m not sure which box you are referring to but on my old CFMoto I installed a custom air box with a snorkel. On the new RZR, I have a Tusk cargo box. It’s super roomy and it locks. Here’s a link www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/tusk-utv-cargo-box-p. It may fit in the CFMoto but I’m not positive. I hope this is helpful!

@@georgebanker2669 oh yes, we sold the trusty little CFMoto and got a RZR last September. We wanted a 60” machine so I researched them all and picked the XP1000. It was the lightest, had great power and had the best suspension travel. Definitely more expensive than a CFMoto but we really love it!
