If we use some science, we can tell that the phone is under the balloon but not protected by it because the phone is touched to its surface and the surface is very thin, so it was obvious that the phone was going to break but if the phone was on the upper side, there might be some chances but due to physics, it is impossible because the balloon will flip at the side with the most weight.
