I’ve been a greenkeeper for 30+ years and pitchmarks are the bane of every Greenkeepers life. Best tool to repair a pitchmark is a pitch fork, every golfer should own one! Just fork the turf back in to the centre all the way round the mark then tap it back down with the base of your putter. What jimmy does is ok and better than nothing at all though.

Love this format..Jimmy is so competitive. Ange you are a better golfer than you give yourself credit for. I'm a 46 handicap played my 1st 9holes of 2023 yesterday shot my best round and got my 2nd ever birdie..its those kind of days that keep us going. Would love if you introduce a shout out to your subscribers on a video especially if people are breaking 100,90, getting their first birdie

This channel just produces absolute Gold - I will say if Ange could sort his head out on the course he could get down to single figures - such skill but beats himself before the shot - Golf life

I’m a greenkeeper, i wouldn’t do what jimmy does, personally use a pitchfork and push turf back in around the pitch, DONT push in and then up!!! however what jimmy does is better than pulling out the roots!

Hi Guys. Yet another great video. Courses you play look wide open. North Oxford Golf Club is being closed after nearly 120 years by Oxford Colleges so that they can build houses on it. It may only be a par 67 but very few people play to their handicap. If you fancy playing it before it closes please let me know. It would be great to have something on video for future reference. Jimbo - "Watch The Snakes", I live in Thailand, get the odd Green Garden Tree Snakes around that usually whoosh away when you get near by, but recently one morning approached the patio doors to unlock, heard a noise spun round to see this Oriental Rat Snake, approx not far short of 2 meters long, very quickly going one way then the other and trying to get up the wall, suffice to say I nearly crapped myself, I got into my room to see it slither away at a rapid speed of knots.

Shot a 32pts on the Heritage course last week off hcp 13. I was happy with that considering I didn't know the course. Really great conditioned course all over...

With Ange on the pitch mark repairs. Push the soil back into the pitch mark from the back where the soil has been push and compressed. That said, any decent attempt to repair them is better than not bothering at all.
