Join me in the flight deck LIVE as we take the Felis TU-154 out for a spin.
This is a study level simulation and detailed representation of its real-world counterpart, we’ll be (attempting) to fly on VATSIM from Riga (EVRA) in Latvia to Manchester (EGCC) in the UK.
Flying this aircraft is extremely challenging and although the principles are the same it’s very different to what I’m used to so please bear with me as I try my upmost to move this old chunk of metal across the length of Europe!
Добро пожаловать на борт!

The primary purpose of this stream is to give you the opportunity to see how I operate the aircraft in real time using real world operating procedures.
Time permitting, I will try and answer some questions you might have about commercial aviation and operating the 737-800 in general.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately replicate the way the aircraft is flown based on my experience as an Airline Captain and Type Rating Instructor, this is purely for entertainment only.
If you happen to be a line pilot or training pilot you must not follow the guidance in this livestream, it is purely for non-professional computer simulated flight. Only consult your approved material from your respective operator.
Personal questions and queries regarding my employment status will not be answered.

Notifications regarding new subscribers’ alerts are not shown to provide a seamless experience. All tips and donations that support the channel (most certainly not required) will always be acknowledged
See you on the Right-Hand Seat!

The flow valve on the APU panel is the APU bleed valve. The pressure valve next to the mass air supply is the duct pressure valve for cabin air. The pressure valve is not needed to be open when starting engines, but its common practice to do so in order to bring cabin to a good temperature.

The weird looking altimeter is in mmHg. On normal operations it is set to field elevation.

@flightdeck2sim Great stream! I love how the second aircraft you use on VATSIM is completely different to 73!😂😂 I've had an idea for a video. Seeing as your partner is cabin crew you could do a what annoys cabin crew about pilots and vice versa 🤷🏼‍♂️ it would be a good laugh!! Enjoy your weekend! Stay safe

Haha, it was a daring adventure to take the TU154 online but it worked out ok!! You’d need an 8 hour flight for that suggestion you made haha. Take care bud! FD2S

@@user-tb3bh5ch1q yes off course. But for pretty much any non russian people (so lot of flight simmers) it's another story. Flying regularly with the DCS Mi-8, now quite proficient in it, and for me It was close to impossible to learn and understand it in Cyrillic. You just can't read, and even pronounce in your head the name of switches, so when you search them you're fucked. And Russian cockpits have very bad ergonomic standard, specialy the Mi-8 (which is why they are so interresting and fun to learn, completely different from western philosophy), so you need to identify switches.
