The immigrant blacks from the Caribbean and Africa are beating you black Americans in Education, Money, Generational wealth and everything else. You should watch your mouth and stop being so hateful and divisive. Black Americans need to stop acting like they're smarter than other blacks because they are not! *Eastside Low Bottoms sh*t !* _Tappin' in from South Central LA_ Tariq Nasheed ✊🏾 is 100% right ! As a Foundational Black American, I'd always seen and treated Black people like brothers and sisters, wherever they descended from...prior to a year ago. I started feeling that energy in the limited interactions I had with non-FBA's. Around that time, I was working near the area of the 10 freeway and Robertson and I stopped at the gas station for chips and a soda. The cashier was a Black looking non-FBA. He was extra chummy with the white dude in front of me but when it was my turn to pay, even with me attempting to exchange pleasantries like I'd always do with anyone, I got nothing. And not saying they're all that way but that's just one example. FBA all day. FBA all the way. 🤜🏾💥🤛🏾

As FBA I like so many of us, was raised to view other Black people as brothers or sisters. It didn't matter where you were from, you were BLACK. Growing up in South Central and with men like my Pops and uncle. Plus being blocks away from the BP Headquarters, etc. I didn't distinguish between Black folks. We FBA got mad over Amadou Diallo, Abner Louima, etc. We were mad about Apartheid and took action etc. Many of us hold individuals like Garvey, Carmichael, Patrice Lumumba, Nelson Mandela, etc in high regards. I didn't really start noticing how some African and Caribbean Immigrants, didn't or don't view us the same way. Until a few years ago. One Jamaican out of NY told me, his parents told him to not associate with FBA. This dude would have to be in his mid to late 40s I believe. Then I started seeing and hearing more. I'm like okay. That's why it's important to delineate, find out people's lineage etc. Man I assumed most of the Black people I encountered were FBA. Until I started flags such as the Belizean one. Hearing a black man speak just like a FBA, then out of nowhere start speaking in an accent etc. Gotta pay attention.

Black Americans have a history of "negative behavior" in their communities and their hatred towards each other this is something that well known worldwide public information even in your songs you made clear on how much you hate each and the urge to shot and kill each other its relevant in the black American culture and it sells so trust me when i say we as blacks around the world are not surprised when you bash my Africans brothers that are in America I've never been to America and have no intent to i love my beautiful country South Africa but i can tell you one thing already as it is we as Africans know how bad things are in the hood/projects/slums and with all due respect it's beyond negative behavior more like savages and the immigrants to come close to what Black Americans do to each other it makes you look dumb throwing bases accusations when there's real issues at hand within the black American Community itself.
@BushidoB
@BushidoB Жыл бұрын
It's draining to having to listen to you so-called "woke" black Americans proper xenophobic. What's worse is you don't even have a spot on the table, no land, marginalized, profiled and getting killed all the time for fun by the same people you'd expect to serve and protect so now you but see subhumans no different between you and i but choose to project the same treatment on us? Nah, act right and snap out of that nursery mindset proper indoctrinated. And what I find strange is blacks are not the only race crossing your borders you have asians, Latinos, Caucasians but "lets invest our time showing the world and all other races how stupid black people are"
@BushidoB
@BushidoB Жыл бұрын
Also forgot to mention but still on that ""negative behavior " the atrocities committed by your country is top tier the worse I'd swear USA is the modern Sodom and Gomorrah, the number of countries you've destroyed still continuing to destroy just to make a specific race wealthy(its obvious you don't have a sit at table) but have the nerve to bash the same people that cross your borders due to desperation that you caused? Instead of focusing that energy on your community which your government does not give a crap about reason, they invest more in the military than fixing the hood/projects/slums. Disappointing to say the least Proper brainwashed.

African Immigrants not staying on code? You mean like Oluwatoyin Salau who was raised in America and a dedicated Black Lives Matter supporter and when she was murdered by an African American male, what did Tariq say? He wrote her off as a Nigerian immigrant and lied that she was killed by another Nigerian immigrant (Aaron Glee Jr , Nigerian where 🤣🤣🤣) and to go deal with our issues in our immigrant community. He also claimed that the cops who murdered Tyre Nichols were non-FBA which is another lie. Granted there's some ignorance on both sides but you can't bridge the divide with lies and xenophobia and claim to be fighting white supremacy. That's hypocrisy.

as someone who is african, specifically, sierra leonean, i was going to come in here and just troll and say tariq whines alot but if i can be honest for a second. There's a lot of truth in what he is saying. HOwever, i think the context , which he spoke briefly about, is important to understand what is going on. For black americans, their identity is more or less dictated by the racialized state that theyve lived in for the entirety of american existence. To a black american, when you ask them what they are, the default response is "im black". However, for a lot of native africans, we are not indoctrinated by race...in that i mean, if you ask a native african, "who/what are you?", what they respond will include "im dopemcee, im the son of dopemcee sr, we are from this tribe, we are located in this province in sierra leone, we are from this country in africa, we are from africa". The idea of identifying yourself as black does not even come into thought until you've exhausted all of these descriptors/links. If you read those descriptors, when you are back in your country, those are all potential source of differentiating yourself from other sierra leoneans to begin with, which introduces potential source of conflict, not to mention when you meet a nigerian or an ethiopian.....not to mention when you meet a black american. However, what happens to a lot of us when we come to america, we are all of a sudden aware of the idea of your identifier just being "black". Some adapt, others dont and still hold on to that idea of who i am, the way i identify myself, is different from others(this includes everyone, not just FBAs), so the idea of acting in one unity is not in their mind..they refuse to accept that the new world that they're in sees that foremost as black and none of that other shit we identify as. To those africans/immigrants, the FBA is just as much of a different tribe as any. Whenever i hear FBA talk about africans, there's this idea of us being this united group against them, i laugh. I am from a tribe in sierra leone called limba, my dad was a doctor, went to work in a province where there were other sierra leonean tribes called mende to help them and provide medical care, they damn near killed my dad simplly because of his tribe. "how dare an inferior, uneducated, backwards thinking limba man come here to help us" . The tropes you often hear in america of blacks being Uneducated, heavily sexualized, non progressive is literally copied in sierra leone for specific tribes. What I think the FBA needs to keep in mind in the fight for pan africanism, is to realize that first and MOST IMPORTANT... we will need to get every black subset around the world to see themselves primarily as black and not whatever else they want to identify as. In other words, be mentally racialized as the FBA. Thats the reason why if germany invades ghana, other africans wouldnt see it as an attack by white people on black people...the FBA will see it as that and advocate against it...but the sierra leonean will just look at it as germany invading ghana 'what does that have to do with me". I disagree in his stance that the generation of africans/carribeans born or primarily raised in america hold on to the same viewpoints as their parents. I can tell you, as someone who came here as a 5 year old, myself and others like me see the world very much as a black american would. You have to. You slowly and surely get indoctrinated into the idea of race being in the forefront of whatever else you want to be...you adapt. Anyway, the point im just trying to make, my FBA brothers and sisters, many of us see the work that was done to open up doors for many of us to succeed in america, dont think that every african or carribean is your enemy. Many of us are actively working to change the mindset of our brothers and sisters to move accordingly.
@ddub5151
@ddub5151 Жыл бұрын
you may see this as an attack on u but it is what it is. You literally just said you came in here to troll and call FBA whiners but then went on to prove the very point Tariq is making. The crazy part is we already peeped this is how many of you Black immigrants move. So you thinking what FBA stand for and talk about being a joke is why we’re cutting y’all off. So while your words after stating your initial intentions might be legit, we FBA will have to take it with a grain of salt and still move accordingly towards all of you because we don’t have time to keep separating the chaff from the wheat with immigrants just because you look like us. Those days are over

africans are not tribal. They have clans of different ethnic groups. Its the same in the Americas that is why there are descendants of Africa in America that dont get along with each other. Some from regions dont get along, some from different cities dont get along, and heck some from different neighbouring streets within the same community dont even get along and form clans that will fight each other. This pretend notion that the color of our skin alone is what should unite an entire group of people is false. even whites have division within their own community between different clans and ethnic groups. You are not telling the truth on this topic, because Jamaicans does not have tribes, and we don't join forces with whites against Black Americans. When we came here from Jamaica our oppositions were the Black Americans, they would tell us to go back home, that we came here and took away their jobs, I could not believe it, I thought we were all one people... as I got older I understood why Black Americans felt that way about us. Where we are coming from we did not have to deal with racism, so we never focused on it, we just keep moving forward to make a better life for ourselves and families. I believe that most people from the Caribbean attitude was, to hell with those racist people, we are here for a purpose, and we are not going to allow any racist stop us from achieving what we came here for, and also at the end of the day we can go back home. Jamaicans experienced racist behavior living in England from white folks also.
