Man united are certainly improving their loan system. Not just him, amad,mejbri,Shoretire all are evolving as a player in their respective team

Definitely one of our stars in 2023/24 season. He will outshine Malacia. He reminds me of a better version of M.Alonso.

Whenever I've seen Preston this year their main attacking threat has come from the left, with Fernandez involved. He's a better backup for Shaw than Williams (who can be released) but Malacia at the moment outranks him. He could use another loan year.

It's sounding like a second year at Preston is a possibility. But if Shaw settles into CB, the Ten Hag may want Fernandez as cover for Malacia, and Williams can be sold.

He is like Felipe Luis and Marcos Alonso..We can convert him into a defensive midfielder, i think he can play like Nemanja Matic, Thiago Motta

The point is i didn't want us to sign malacia last year bcz Fernandez was doing good ,he was player of the yr and i expected him to get into the first team but we signed malacia which i think isn't a good deal not bcz he isn't a good player but bcz Fernandez has more potential and was already in the club

The fact that they have SHAW a new 4yr contract for £240K per week tells me sadly he would be the starting LB...9 ASSISTS in 9yrs ....has WHAT it takes as we see glimpses of competence, but he Is Lazy as FK! Really wanted new WB & GK that's consistent with ETH'S PHILOSOPHY of POSITIONAL PLAY.

Why having him considered "sadly" tho, Shaw is an important player one of the most complete player imo. You can use him as LCB or LB, Inverted FB or Traditional FB, he also one of the best crosser in the team. He's offered a new deal because he does fit the system, and considered as an asset for the team.
