Brandon Pierce all I felt in this video was jealousy! haha and we just had a 70 plus degree in NC!! would you be confident in taking the other maverick up this same trail?? would have loved a look down a few of those hills after climbing them!! that helps with showing the grade

Matthew Quigley thanks for the comment. yes I have a 2015 Can Am Maverick XDS Turbo that I would take up that hill. the X3 ground clearance was so awesome we drove right over the big rocks and the Hill has gotten alit worse since it washed out it was a lot of fun. I am a KZfaq noob I'm going to work on getting better shots for you guys

i love the looks of the new x3 and fit and finish is superior over the rzr..however without question, the rzr will outclimb the x3 in most catagories. ..i know cus my friend has the x3 and i have the basic 1000s. my diff lock will engage sooner and will lock up when needed...but if your not into climbing or challenged by obstacles, or if your into duning, the x3 is the one for you! also the x3 belt is accessible now just like the rzr's, awesome!

you take off from just below the dam left side of the road if you were going up the canyon.then from there can you get to trail 475

pickup a second gopro water tight case and epoxy door to door with a small piece of 1/4 plastic between them. use the extra case to hold a hand warmer. mine has had zero issues down to -20

aaron janes thanks for the tip I don't use the GoPro cases because you can't get good audio with them I like to use an external mic.but I still like your hand warmer idea

Brandon Pierce try pulling the membrane out of a battery operated heated sock. use that around the mic.

It's 68' outside right now we got the Ac on here in Memphis it's wet and muddy on our trails I don't like the mud really I would love the sand and desert that way I don't have to spend two days cleaning my sxs s something about this mud here it's hard to clean it off your stuff it's different mud I don't like it

+Danknug thanks for the comment it's a trail ride up Provo Canyon at the base of the dam at Deer Creek Reservoir if you look to the left you'll see a road that goes up the ridge of the mountain

If it's steep on camera, it's STEEP! If Can Am ever works out that lagging 4 wheel drive system, I would trade my XP 1000 for one.

Jay Stoner thanks for the comment. I think the Maverick X3 is now better last year's Maverick wasn't but I think this year's is. you will see in my next video

That one spot wouldn't have been an issue if dang can am would use a true diff lock. Also wondering if you get a lot of mud and water throwen back at you in the cab? That's one thing I really dislike about my buddies yamaha yxz1000. Thanks!

Curtis Bull thanks for the comment. the diff on the the Can-Am is not quite as good as the diff in the RZR but really it was just the sheer size of that rock and trying to figure out how to get around it. it did really well though it was amazing the rocks that we could just drive right over because of all the ground clearance. my friends company rokblokz.com makes mud flaps and trailing arm guards which is what we have on the X3 really helps out with the mud and rocks alot

Curtis Bull haven't been in the 64 inch machine I bet it's still awesome but I have really noticed the long travel in everything that we've done. in the dunes out at the desert up in the mountains I love the long travel it's just so stable and gives you confidence

Brandon Pierce Thought so, I've taken some with my IPhone 7 Plus that's stabilized and it turns out really good. I mount my GoPro to my cage or hood on my rzr and it vibrates so much that it looks like shit.

Next time try to record the Can-Am itslef, maybe with a Drone following you, using the active track feature. DJI Drones comes with it either Phantom or Mavic.
