Just wanted to say hello and thank you for your videos on the Outlander Max XT-P 1000r. Your videos as well as Dirt Obsexxion and ATV On Demand helped me decide to pull the trigger on a brand new 2023 about two months ago. I've been riding ATVs since the mid 1980s and still own several old Honda ATCs that I will never get rid of. That said, I am utterly impressed with my Outlander in every possible way. One thing my '23 has that your '20 didn't is they added the manually lockable Visco-4-Lock front diff. Cool feature to have, but I doubt I'll ever need it. Like you, I'm not looking for the mudholes over the seat deep. This is our luxury trail rider. Seeing you live in Buffalo, I wonder if you have ever tried the Oswego County ATV Club trails? They are based out of Altmar NY (just south of Pulaski on Rt13). I along with a bunch of my family are member there and by your stated riding practices and advocacy for stock exhaust, you would be very welcome at our club. Excessive noise is the number 1 cause of trail closure as most of our trail system utilizes privately owned land. Feel free to look me up if ever you find yourself interested.

Greg from northern Michigan. You're looking good. The ATV is looking good too ! I have two 2016 Polaris ACE 570 single seat ATV's with built in roll cages and a 2006 CanAm. 650 HO upright ATV similar to yours. I use the CanAm to go slow in the woods or when pulling a spiked chain drag to maintain our gravel driveway. I use the ACE 570's to go fast on the trails. At our ages we need to have the additional safety of a strong roll cage. Keep the great videos coming.

Todd from Ottawa, ON, Can. Good review sir! Just picked up my first ATV last Friday, a blue 22' Outlander 650 XT. Always loved the looks and the reliabililty from what I hear of the Can-Am's. Not to mention they're Canadian engineered and built. ;-) I've been road riding bikes for over 20yrs(started late in life 29yrs old) but the last few years, the craziness on the road with the distracted driving has really turned me off. Not to mention I'm not net getting any younger. So I picked up off-roading up at the cottage last year with a few friends, borrowing a buddies Brute Force. Hundreds of kilometers of trails, if not over a thousand, around the area we camp. Had a blast and decided to change gears, selling the road bike and bought the Outlander. Decided on the one up for the extra agility the shorter wheelbase provides. We do go through some very tight and knarly trails. Anyways looking for some warmer weather to get out and ride. This -15C or colder is hard on the old bones. Cheers!

I actually miss my ATV over the SXS. I do like the 2021 Defender XMR, but I am limited to the wider trails. I might buy an ATV in the future. I think I would go with the MAX XT-P.

Sorry to comment on an old post, but do you remember the riser height of OMD handleber riser? I find my oem height hurts my shoulders lately

Are you going back to a Polaris based on hat and jacket? Good review. I agree that the oil change process is a hassle compared to Polaris but the rest of the ATV characteristics outweigh that.
