I added a pulley to the front of where you put the hook from harbor freight with a hook as well saved on my winch drawing my battery down I have the renegade and those batteries aren’t meant for it must be they drain quick. Love the video i do the same after plowing as well lol

Are you using the bigger can-am fair lead for plows?

Have you run into issues with the 570 plowing large amounts of snow? I live near Rochester NY and have a 300 ft asphalt driveway. I use my Kubota Bx with bucket but it takes a decent amount of time and don’t want to shell out $2000+ for the plow. Plowing with an ATV looks more fun and quicker!

I've only used it for two seasons and we really haven't had a lot of snow to put it to the test I feel like it could handle maybe 12 to 16 in of snow fine.

That's impressive. That's a huge amount of snow. I am checking out these videos trying to decide if I want to go with a 700 or 500. I'm going this week to talk to the dealer

Does this have power steering ? Looking at a 2022 450 outlander with same set up!! I’m nervous of not having power steering . Thanks so much

It does have power steering and it works well!

Can you give a list of all your features you added to your atv thanks!

Besides the 5’ composite snow plow, the only thing I’ve added was the LED light bar. I found it a little hard to see when I was plowing at night because the plow somewhat blocked the stock headlights.

Do u have to disconnect the black bar once hook up
@ColinFisher3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you’re supposed to slip the cable out of the loop on that black bar. I’m not sure what happens if you don’t do it.

@@ColinFisher you will snap your winch wire if you leave it around the attachment bar, don’t ask how I know that 😂

What plow is it you're using?

It's a 2019 Can-Am Pro-Mount plow. 5 ft, compsite.

Does the mount interfere with skid plates???
@ColinFisher2 жыл бұрын
No, the plow mount is below the skid. Here's a picture of the setup. It shows the fairlead too. photos.app.goo.gl/g7As9Le2GJmYZ9jT7

What year is your machine? I've not seen that color before, and are those factory tires?
@ColinFisher2 жыл бұрын
@@avidhuntr It’s a 2019. Yes factory tires. Everything is stock except the light bar.

How exactly?

It's funny when people who have either used inferior equipment in the past or just have a basic lack of knowledge try and act like they know what they are yapping about! You plow in low gear! There's almost zero stress on the transmission, bcuz even the smaller Can-am, or ATVs in general have plenty of power to push snow. Just cuz you don't have 1, don't mean you gotta try and act like they're not more than up to the job.

By the way moderately hard trail riding is 5 times harder on a Can-am tranny than pushing snow
